Is there anything EMR I'd like to see? Yes. St. Pancras to Leicester route, with a merge to the MML and a 360! A Voyager EP would also be nice (or new stock).
Yes they need to do an extension from Leicester to london and redo the bedford bit as the DTG is bland

Nice Route this is, as a Leicester and EMR local can’t help but notice the brief said 222 001/006 lost coaches to strengthen the /1’s when it was 05/06 haha - great vid as always
What sounds are you using for your Class 222 / voyager? Standard JT, AP or a patch using AP sounds?
Just AP and the semaphore sim pack
I much prefer the default sounds on the 222. The sounds in the video are way too quiet.
@@montyburnsgaming3609 the default sounds are awful 😞 voyager cabs are all but silent the AP pack isn’t brilliant but it’s way better than default
An update is live for the core route of Derby to Sheffield, in readiness for tomorrows release of the Hope Valley line add-on. Maybe a Liv-Nor EMR service on this new route?
Hello Alan I've looked into any patches for the class 222 cab textures as they are horrible after the upscales cab texture update and look nothing like the real thing I've found the update on your website and were wondering if there were any way to downscale the cab textures I don't know if that would mean to not be able to use anything els in that update or I can just change the cab textures I'm not sure. If theres any way I can descale the textures that would be great :) thanks for you help Alan your content is great

Odd train to use considering the slow speeds and the frequent stops with some of them with short platforms not big enough to fit the whole train on. I know it goes to London which is why they use the meridian/voyager but the train was barely breaking a sweat. A 156, 150 or 153 would be much better suited for this route.
About the speed this is what I found on Rail UK - here is a fairly lengthy 50 mph once on the Nottingham - Lincoln line which apparently is due to the formation not be in good condition. This has been like this for decades but once after Collingham the speed raises to 70 mph
The Midlands rail strategy (don`t recall the correct name) has plans to raise the speeds between Nottingham and Lincoln around 2024 I seem to remember and I have heard 90 mph being talked about.

Interesting info but what do you mean by the formation?
"What can a route like this do to keep you occupied". Good foliage, unique buildings, good clutter and good AI. Avoiding repetition and having nice little surprises as you go along. It's boring seeing the same assets popping up lots of times or having bare track and ballast with no clutter.
For me it's plenty of AI traffic, good and varying scenery, and a lot of speed limit changes, curves, gradient changes to keep you on your toes. Not a fan of those routes where you just set the throttle and just sit there doing nothing the rest of the time. Don't like routes with long amounts of time between stations either, prefer around 3-10 miunutes between stops.

A lot of routes in the midlands are like this, flat terrain, long sections of straight track, yet low speed limits, which doesn't make it the most interesting routes to drive. I much prefer twisty routes or costal routes. Driving on the mainline (especially the east coast mainline) with long sections of straight track at 125 mph gets boring after awhile.
I would like to see some 180 with EMR treatment on MML whatever which part it is on

It’s a mix match of the ss pack and a Clowes reskin
Purple skin is part of the JT 222. The EMR interim livery (the odd carriage in the 222104 set) is a reskin and not part of the JT pack.
