Today I’m going to be sharing with you how easy it is to make bolillo bread! We love bolillo for tortas and for our favorite soup, menudo! With only 5 ingredients!!!!

I M P O R T A N T ⚠️ make sure your dough rises the first hour, if it doesn’t rise, your yeast is no good! The dough is going to be sticky and that’s what you want, the dough needs to be elasticity(
TIP: to store place in ziplock bag
If you don’t have a mixer no problem just knead for 20 minutes or until the dough it’s soft and elasticity
Ingredients: makes 8 bolillo breads
4 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup shortening or oil
2 tsp sugar
1-2 tsp salt
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 3/4 c warm water (110f)
1 serving of love 💕

I've been making ALL bread products at home for years. I'm super excited to add Bolillo to the list of staples. They are very similar to Vietnamese ba Minh rolls, which I make frequently.... those have an egg as bolillo do not. You're so adorable, I love watching your channel and trying your recipes.
