A day in the life of a SERVICE PLUMBER (#2) - Charity Edition

- We dedicate the first business day of each month to identifying members of our local community who have necessary plumbing repair needs but who also simply have no way to afford them. We set them up with a service call on the first business day of the month and we make those repairs free of charge. We call the program #FamilyFirst and it's one of the best days of the month!
On this call, we have a sweet lady who recently separated after a lengthy marriage. Newly single and left to handle the house all herself, she didn't have the skill or the funds to do so. Add an unplanned leak that ruined some flooring and you have the recipe for a #FamilyFirst customer. We were happy to step in and install a few new faucets and a new toilet for her. She can now rest comfortably knowing that her plumbing is all taken care of.

Awesome program man
It's our favorite day of the month!
Great video man.
Appreciate it!
One of the best feeling in business is helping those that can never repay you. Awesome work there!
We would have to agree!
Great channel man! Just found ya today!
Thanks!
Great video as always 👍
Thanks!
I was expecting work to be done to a family with older home who couldn't afford a nice brick home.
You never know what's happened to cause someone to need the assistance. We've worked in nicer homes and very run down homes. People of all walks of life find themselves in the position to need the assistance.
Hard water, enemy of all pipes everywhere.
Indeed it is!
Thanks for the video, interesting to see what you are doing but I am looking for tips. Like, you found green on the bottom of the pipe, how did you fix it? I will look for other videos for the explanation.
Green on the bottom of the pipe?
@@SmedleyPlumbing Yes, you were pulling the toilet, you noticed green on the water line. You then cut the bottom line I think. Not sure what you did.
@@michaelmcdonald1402 we were replacing the supply stop and there was some green corrosion on the waterline. We always have to clean up and remove that before we install a new supply stop.
How much would you have charged?
Charges are somehwat irrelevant on our #FamilyFirst customers. Charges would also change drastically by location around the US or around the world.
about 600$
