it feels like I am walking through a desert. and come across ruins older than anyone could imagine. large, imposing, strong. unbothered by the ravages of time.
but also
forbidden. sacred
this place has been abandoned. and it is to remain as such. tresspassers WILL be punished for this transgressions.
and whoever hears this must weather this punishment.
with sajuuk khar it feels more like a crusade. this ancient and divine power is to be wielded. and brought to bear in a crusade.
and with battle for sajuuk it feels like Sajuuk, a god, is witnessing a duel. watching, judging. whom is worthy to wield them.
not so much a fight as a ritual.
and it all feels so desolate. I love it
To think that the Beast was vibing in the Naggarock long before the powerful Progenitors were even around and disappeared again just makes one wonder how deep the rabbit hole of Homeworlds multi-galactic history really goes. Is there more Beast out there? Were there more vessels like the Naggarock? Did perhaps even the progenitors hail from remnants of an ancient war against the plague of the beast?
the first piece, the projenitors feels like sitting deep in the desert, under the night sky around a large fire. hearing the tale of the precursors. of this power that is greater than all others. and you are both warned of the might it brings and the conflict it invites.

Sajuuk's Identity is the most amazing song out of all of these. That first sound and later the vocals... Just woow, some of the most amazing sounds that I've ever heard.

I love this suite so much. It has all the greatest pieces from Homeworld.

Does anyone knows the translation of 04:52 "The Keeper" it feels like a mix of the arabic and greek language. For example it say's "me to theo" in a sample and in greek it means "with god"...

hw2 is far better than hw1, and this ost is greater tha "adagio"
the soundtrack is on par with HW1, but the story is questionable. still a good game tho
@@ehansultan wouldn't say it is questionable, it's decent. It's just conflicting with HW1 and most of all with Cataclysm

@@Airsickword It was, until the Homeworld Revelations corebook came out. It states that the Beast Wars are now canon and are part of a historical period known as "Era Of New Wars" (Beast War and Vaygr War).
