    There are 3 different sizes o CapN Hook. What size are you using and since most HVAC guys use porta torch kits, will this fit Harris or Victor kits? Are there adapters available to fit other handles?

    I need to get one of these and the devil horns again. Haven't found one of these that fits a victor torch yet. Maybe there's an adapter

      it does fit the victor j-series torches, but those are not very common. most have the 100 series victor or the larger 300 series.

    When I go to light it up, i open acetylene first and hit the sparker and then I open the oxygen and it makes. A explosion like sound and does not light ...why

      too much fuel would be my guess. try dialing the acetylene down low before you open the oxygen

      @@nathantruax4 or, too much oxy at once...open the oxy more gently or dial the pressure down a bit

      @@wcjc99 you need a flow regulator I heard it was about 3-5 psi

      Download the Uniweld HVAC/R products catalog from the website. Page 16 starts the list of all their tips which includes specs for each tip : what size pipe that tip is capable of brazing up to, as well as what your delivery pressure should be set to on acetylene and oxygen regulators.

    I'm going into hvac and I have only one hand, i think this would make brazing easier for me. Plus The whole Capn hook thing just puts a nice little zing to it lol . ah well

    Turn the oxygen off 1st. If you've ever read the directions from Uniweld, it specifies turning oxygen off 1st

    Задумка прикольная, но сама пайка грязная. Шов и отвод перегрет. Отвод может порвать при гидроударах (закрытие/открытие соленоида, запуск/остановка компрессора). Плюс от перегретой меди много грязи внутри.

    You don't want to get it red hot. Especially if your on the job. Red hot can easily turn into point of no return

      I used to be a brazer for Addison. Piped their DOAS package units and they wanted all their joints red hot. Not cherry red but right when it starts to turn red.
