Wow amazing brazing tool
I enjoy mine. Great tool.
That's a fantastic tool.
Great video!
great tool, thx
Hey man. Great video. What size is the connector please? I am looking for something to go over my harris welding kit..
There are 3 different sizes o CapN Hook. What size are you using and since most HVAC guys use porta torch kits, will this fit Harris or Victor kits? Are there adapters available to fit other handles?
Beautiful
Lovely where I can buy this nozzle
Can you braze 1 5/8 pipe with this tip?
I need to get one of these and the devil horns again. Haven't found one of these that fits a victor torch yet. Maybe there's an adapter
it does fit the victor j-series torches, but those are not very common. most have the 100 series victor or the larger 300 series.
nice👍👍👍
Yes sir
where can i buy this tool and how is the ??
What size is that one?
guys what pressure are you setting your oxy and acetylene regulators for the captain hook tip.
8psi oxy, 5psi acetylene
i just wish that they made a small version for tubing in the 5/16"-3/8" range...
I use it on 1/4 and 3/8 all the time
Would be senseless since you can heat copper of that size from 1 side
Spark resistors plz
When I go to light it up, i open acetylene first and hit the sparker and then I open the oxygen and it makes. A explosion like sound and does not light ...why
too much fuel would be my guess. try dialing the acetylene down low before you open the oxygen
@@nathantruax4 or, too much oxy at once...open the oxy more gently or dial the pressure down a bit
Nice and fast
Sold
What pressures do you have to set the regulators at, any different from standard tips? Thanks, great video
Wish someone would answer you. I just got mine
@@wcjc99 contact the manufacturer in an email, I'm sure they would be glad to help you out ? @uniweld ???
@@wcjc99 you need a flow regulator I heard it was about 3-5 psi
Download the Uniweld HVAC/R products catalog from the website. Page 16 starts the list of all their tips which includes specs for each tip : what size pipe that tip is capable of brazing up to, as well as what your delivery pressure should be set to on acetylene and oxygen regulators.
Just read the description from uniweld and it’s 5 acetylene and 8 oxy
What were your regulator set to
Probably 5/5
What prise????
I'm going into hvac and I have only one hand, i think this would make brazing easier for me. Plus The whole Capn hook thing just puts a nice little zing to it lol . ah well
Have you started HVAC?
@@jamesswitalski9168 not yet got cold feet but had all the aid in place car is not reliable...working on that. Thanks for asking
@@daviddelgado475 ah I feel you, it will happen man. I feel you my old ass 01 Honda's transmission is going bad and drive 45 mins to work but getting my truck in less than a year so let's hope she stay okay till then haha.
@@jamesswitalski9168 thats crazy i got a 2002 honda accord 168000 miles changed the starter... Now waterpump timing belt gotta get changed. Thanks dor asking though brother. Blessings to you.
Do they make these to fit a turbo torch?
How to clean the tip
What psi are you using?
Yes ok
Turn the oxygen off 1st. If you've ever read the directions from Uniweld, it specifies turning oxygen off 1st
Muy buena boquilla, pero el wey no sabe soldar 😂😂✌
Put pressure on that and lets see if its bubbling now 😅
É bom para retirar o tubo
Para solda não
Damn I don’t think I have the coordination to do that
POP!
Задумка прикольная, но сама пайка грязная. Шов и отвод перегрет. Отвод может порвать при гидроударах (закрытие/открытие соленоида, запуск/остановка компрессора). Плюс от перегретой меди много грязи внутри.
You don't want to get it red hot. Especially if your on the job. Red hot can easily turn into point of no return
I used to be a brazer for Addison. Piped their DOAS package units and they wanted all their joints red hot. Not cherry red but right when it starts to turn red.
@@anthonynunez164 It does ensure a fully wetted joint.
I don’t want to be a Karen but damn is hard with this RUclips certified pros
Yo hoho
You forgot to flow nitrogen 😹👍🏽
Buen video..pero viejo no sabes soldar..no deberías usar tanta ni voltear plata..se entiende q tendrías q bajarle la intensidad porque tenés varias llamas calentando el caño
Scfff
U really do not need this LOL
Sorry but this is a terrible demonstration
Fail
Go to 1:08. You’re welcome.
Looked like a sloppy job to me.
Definitley not worth the money
Sure it is. Especially useful in a tight spot where you can't easily get behind the joint.
Larger piping and brazing not sweating.
Spark resistors plz
