My tooth got cracked because my crown on the bottom tooth is a harder material than my top tooth above it.
What pissed me off is they told this a common occurrence. They didn’t mention this before I got the crown. So why have dentists switched to a harder material. If this eventually ruins the tooth directly above or below it?
Gold is best. Softer than enamel.
Because old crowns crack more than the tooth so harder crown should be better replacement but then again if you are a hard grinder then nothing can last.
I keep coming back for an update. I love videos like this....hate when updates are not done. Need inspiration...
Perhaps it means nothing he suggested worked, and instead of addressing it he doesn't want to lose clout?

My dentist wants to do a root canal and then a crown. This means losing half the truth, yet somehow this is called "saving the tooth"..

I'm going through the same thing. I'd been having sensitivity, pain, swelling and cold symptoms. Today, the back part of my 4th tooth front, right side tooth break off along with with my filling! Good riddance to the filling. My tooth has about 2mm of raw, sensitive area. I'm not trying to get a root canal or extraction. My doctor gave me an antibiotic and I'm taking supplements and my psyche meds which help with pain and inflammation. While I do not have $ to by new items, I do have cloves, lavender oil and baking soda. I found some retro mouthwash and will keep that up gor the rest of the week. Thanks for sharing.

I bit down on a piece of pizza with my tooth that has a mercury filing. It literally felt like Metal against Metal. I thought nothing of it. I figured it would heal. About on year later, I started having trouble with it. I went to two different Dentist that said it needed to be pulled. Well, I decided to not pull that tooth. It's been a little over 4 years ago that they said pull it. My tooth is fine. It's not loose. I was was told I had a split down my tooth. I have no gum pain, but I still have some nerve pain at times.
When the tooth "supposedly" split down the middle, I had to rely on my other tooth(that also has a mercury filing). Over time, the Mercury has been wearing away, and I can no longer use it, because it is in pain. I'm scheduled to go to a Biological Dentist next week. My tooth has been hurting pretty bad. I'm hoping this Dentist will help me save my teeth.I have been using peroxide Prince, baking soda, sea salt, biominerizing tooth paste, clove, omega 3 fatty acids, and oil pulling. Do you know of supplements that can strengthen the tooth?

I hope healed the crack I I’ve had a cracked tooth for quite some time and it was fine I never felt anything it never happened till I had a whole bunch of sugar one weekend and everything just went haywire and for a while it seemed like maybe it was gonna be infected but I listen to somebody holistic and the infection went awayBut then I bet down on some chocolate bar that was frozen I forgot how how I was gonna get a crown and now the vertical crack all the way up, how do you feel about implants from your knowledge I’m like getting scared out of my mind!!

What if you have a root canal tooth that has a small hairline crack (no crown)now can't be saved they want extract and put in an implant..no pain you can't see anything only on x-ray. Can I just leave it it for awhile can I heal this crack?

It sounds like you just need some granulated xylitol. I've tried everything you listed and more over the years and it's all useless. Xylitol would take the pain away instantly and keep it away forever. I haven't even had to oil pull since I started using it.
Dairy may make the teeth/bones/nails soft due to estrogen. Gluten may hurt also....hurt the gut lining so less nutrients/minerals absorb.
What do you do with it? Curious.... Thanks
@@stacypearson7180 You use it like a mouth wash. You crunch up half a tsp or more in your mouth until it quickly dissolves and then swish for 5 minutes. It prevents strep bacteria from taking up other sugars so they starve to death. I usually use it after each meal. It also cleans your mouth and removes stains from your teeth because it's a sugar alcohol. It tastes really good. It only takes maybe three days of using it before hot and cold sensitivity are gone for good, and then it prevents cavities.
@@Shasha8674 Estrogen is needed for tooth and bone mineralization. Some women shrink after menopause if their estrogen gets too low (the adrenals are supposed to keep making it). Dairy is naturally estrogenic, but from what I've read it might be the high phosphate that's the problem.
@@koalamama2 Interesting. All the hormones affect the bones, but dairy made m y teeth/nails/bones weak and then shrink. Progesterone is made in the adrenals. Estrogen is made in fat/ovaries. One can convert into the other. Testosterone is one Hydrogen atom different than estrogen. Progesterone stops at menopause not estrogen, but estrogen can be low if ovaries shrivel up. The hormones need the right ratios. Dairy may make estrogen 3X higher and cause estrogen dominance. 80% of estrogen dominance maybe due to dairy compared to other sources of it. Meat/dairy/soy/BPA/chemicals/own fat/The Pill/flax/baby formula may make people estrogen dominant. They said if the cow is pregnant the estrogen would be higher also. Phosphates help cell members and ATP is made of it. Dairy helps/hurts me and others, but is addicting. Gluten is like Heroin/sugar is like cocaine and dairy is also addicting. I am still learning so what you say is interesting. I stopped the dairy that was hurting me and my body crashed. I think the protein in the dairy helped. I will try whey which has no casein to see if that helps and not hurt. Ghee is also supposed to help people. I am looking for food I can eat so I have stamina. Dairy gave me stamina, but swelling/inflammation in my brain/body hurt people and it causes mucous etc.. Maybe a small amount of flax may help with whey? Thanks for your comment.

Dairy has estrogen that may make bones/ teeth weak and then chewing on a frozen strawberry etc.. may crack the teeth.
Neither of those, actually. I got a deep filling after a piece of my tooth broke somehow and the filling caused the tooth to crack.

I am oil pulling with coconut oil and castor oil infused with magnesium oil, and MSM powder and xylitol, Aldo using essential oil mouthwash, tyme, oregano, lemongrass, rosemary, tea tree in purified water and ZmTC oil , after brushing and flossing ( with tea tea oil ) using 40% dmso with essential oils on tooth that is issue apply with q tip, and using a cream with comfrey ( know as bone knot to restore any cracks) but D4, K2, cod liver oil, grass fed butter, ketosis diet clean, no pytates, etc.. history of infection 7 years ago, returned past year been dealing g with since approx March 2021, currently I infection showing on X Ray but shows compromised, do not want root canal, keep you posted as to results, seeing dentist 2nd opinion next week

Propylene glycol in there is a preservative, not good to breath that in. Similar to antifreeze.
eating a pizza just now and I heard a weird crunch. I cracked a lower molar. the piece is in my hand. probably the size of a Advil tablet. The inisde part of the piece is hollowed out with black hard calcified material. no pain. I have dental insurance but have been leary to go into the dentist since I'm quarantined out of state and have a cancer patient in the house.

@@lokomotive28 went to the best dentist in my area. It was out of network. They knew how to deal with the insurance to make it low cost like an in network dentist. I needed a new crown. They did all my covered work and used the profits from that to lower the cost of my crown as a way of adding a new patient for regular cleanings which are covered under my insurance. The crown for a back molar was $700. it required two visits. was not painful at all because since it was a high end dental office they use lazers which are faster and less pain. You only get one tooth as an adult. Spend the money on the best dentist you can afford. That tooth will be there longer than you.
If I was a doctor or a dentist I would just get tooth pulled and get implant.Hard -working people have to worry about what to do because we don't have the money to do the all of the options.The sad truth is you have to be wealthy to be healthy.

I had a root canal then it failed and I needed an extraction. Sadly the two teeth next are fractured and again I need to make a choice root canal or extraction.
I am in the same boat as you,my dentist told me I would need a molar extracting.I refuse to have it extracted as it causes minimal pain.The molar has a horizontal fracture which has a good survival rate.I know teeth can't heal themselves as there are no blood vessels.I am just taking Magnesium and Vitamin K2 and using a remineralising mouthwash.I am too scared to go back to the dentist.

He forgets that people may be affected by (teeth) illness , speaks far too fast, I get stressed, am tired. Good talk on his own normal, healthy situation,, nothing for stress-caused malnutrition, maldigestion,malabsorption from severe chronic stressand old trauma.Let down and deceived by many dentists.Forgiving them is not so easy, having got one's life destroyed fatally, mot got good odontolgy treatment or advice/support. I thinl they think humans with psychical affect of one's diease makes one worthless, when we seem to not be sp present because of trauma, and nervous, unsafe due to stress, sleep deprivation and anxiety.I need help now!
