what about the 1-6-2-5 maybe C major, a minor, d minor, G major?

I think I’m a little confused on the ii V I. I mainly see ii V i progressions in a minor key. Blue Bossa being one example. It’s a standard ii V i except for the secondary function chords whether that be the V of V or the ii of vi. I would love to see how you’d walk a ii V i bass line in a minor key as i struggle with that myself lol. Also, I’m sure you have a video for this too but I would love to see a walking bass line “formula” of sorts. I struggle with what tones should be used and where and it would be amazing to get someone else’s perspective.

Also, your “hardest bass exercise” has been amazing for my targeting and shifting. It’s already been implemented into my practice routine.

This lesson might help: ruclips.net/video/KrQrLaFUnUc/видео.htmlsi=QY9hYOgpMiC7U_L8 as well as this one: ruclips.net/video/K7hCi7KkUjo/видео.htmlsi=qTunBBc0JMoQ6BGv
You have major and minor 2 5 1 chord progressions and there’s a different basic approach to each. Once you get your fingers and ears around them, you’ll start to recognise them coming up in all kinds of jazz standards.

So How do we know which apegio corresponds to each chord?

LOVE the Mustang (I have the American Performer). While it’s a blast to play and has its own great sound, it lacks the “big sound” of the full sized bass. I’m constantly flipping back and forth between the P bass and Mustang.
