Excellent video. Saves me the trouble of seeing what's new and what's the value of that new stuff.

I paid around $1100 for sml2, spotter arms, and Ohio bar in 2020. Imo it was worth it.
Most items on rogue are too extra and too expensive

Killer! I recently picked up something very similar (went with the Titan series safety spotter arms and the Rogue SM-2). How are you liking the setup?

What was your thoughts on the sandwich J cups?

I personally think the regular sandwich J-Cups that Rogue offers are superior because they essentially turn your 49” wide rack into a 48” wide rack and make it less likely for your bar to hit the sides of the rack when re-racking (a common occurrence on 49” wide racks)

for a crossover would you choose rogue or arsenal strenght?

You sir, have some great taste! 🤑
If money isn’t a big factor I would probably go with Arsenal cause I like that you don’t have to set up a seat + knee pad every time to use a lat tower/ low row.
If space is an issue the Rogue may be a bit better, but still a Goliath of a machine.
My personal choice would be the Prime Fitness Functional Trainer ($6,250 MSRP) because I already have two lat tower/ low row configurations 😁
That being said, if you dig the classic look and feel of a full cable crossover system or want it as a good selling point for a box/ commercial gym, I’d probably go with the Rogue version (if you already have a lat tower/ low row).
If you don’t have a lat tower/ low row, it may be a good choice to go for the arsenal package! (Unsure of current price).
If this didn’t help a ton, feel free to let me know more about the application and space (home gym vs commercial, etc.) and I’d love to help out!
      All the best,
      GR

From a thread I'd recommend checking out, about someone converting their Prime Fitness Selectorized rack into a full sized Cable Crossover system:
Question: "Serious question: why not just buy a dedicated functional trainer?"
Answer: "Actually a pretty legitimate question. Here's a few reasons why I chose to do this.
Prime offers a 1:1 high pulley combined with the adjustable 2:1 pulleys, most functional trainers only have 2:1 weight ratios.
I have a ceiling height of only 94", Primes HLP Rack comes in at 92". Just shy of my ceiling.
350lb weight stack on 1:1 high pulley, 175lb with 2:1 pulley. No other FT out there in this price range with thst kind of weight.
My local vendor had all the pieces I needed in stock. No need to wait months. Prime rack and parts were picked up and driven home.
Able to add storage shelves, and other attachments.
Lastly, price. It was way cheaper than other commercial grade options comparable to this."

No one needs a 4x3 rack in their home gyms.
