You can't Predators use ambush They ain't gonna circle around you to let you know. You mostly likely gonna get snatched underwater before you realize what hit you.
I swam in the Roper River in Arnhem Land in the 70s with some indigenous mates ,on the way back from the rope swing my dog was rite behind me when I got to the bank the dog was gone!! Just a Massive swerl........never swam there again !! 🐊
Prior to the 1970s, saltwater crocodiles had been extirpated by hunting throughout much of Australia, but due to legal protection by Australian authorities in that decade, the species quickly expanded and began to reestablish itself in many former parts of its range. Consequently, many people that had grown used to certain waterways not having crocodile populations in previous years would increasingly encounter them in those places during the 1970s and 1980s. These days, it is very rare but not outright impossible to even find them as far south as Carnarvon, Western Australia and south of Brisbane almost to the Queensland-NSW border.
@abhishekkemkar0905 the dog followed me in . that's what dogs do and that dog swam in that river like me for 12yrs before that happened .what a stupid thing to say
My life flashed before my eyes when I fell into this river after seeing crocs all day

The cow looks like a sheep infront of these crocs
Can you imagine swimming in those waters and suddenly your surrounded by 4 or 5 crocodiles??

Why would you take your dog in such dangerous waters? Sad how dogs always pay the price for their owners' carelessness.
