The dance Milo does really goes underappreciated, it's actually very deep. It's a metaphor for what it feels like to have Morb Juice flowing through your veins, each subtle movement indicates a different part, like how the twist and pointing at Morbius is displaying complex messages. The twist is representative of both the change from depressed and dying, to alive and jolly, and the pointing is a sign that we too can be like this, if only we get the Morb juice!
99% of people are here for the memes but I unironically think that one shot in the beginning where Morbius and Milo run 360 degrees around the subway tunnel actually looks cool as hell
I do unironically love Matt Smith in this movie. This is one of those beautiful instances where a talented Actor knows *exactly* what kind of script he was to work with and just decides to have some fun with it.
Morbius HAS always been a cool marvel character, the problem is that he works better as a support. He's typically a Blade/Spider-Man antagonist, and is the reason Blade has powers.

I extended the slowmotion shot (the one I used for the thumbnail) by about 110%... I thought about extending the somewhat slow-motion shot of Milo and the cops but it wasn't coming out well... He moves like Faora in Man of Steel...
lets be honest, this scene has much better cgi and action sequence than entire marvel studio movie/series after endgame. and of course we can see the best actors trying their best to make this movie better.

We all know Morbius is a mid-movie overall, but the action scenes are amazing and so unique, I've never seen this kind of CGI effect of these foggy trails before
They just didn't keep the intensity up... I think directors are possibly under a lot of pressure to force films into the rating system. We don't see what are now considered extreme films anymore. Take the exorcist for example... it would NEVER make it past today's rating system. So... the film industry as a whole has lowered the bar creating an obstical for directors to deal with... Milo has more control over his power... maybe because he drinks red or maybe he took 2 doses (as 3 are pictured). In this sequence Milo can phase a will... a little or a lot... and has the same powers of Michael... Not sure about the flying or bat radar... maybe he would have different abilities... or had yet to explore those... Either way Milo had a lot of potential... This sequence Rocked in the theater... but The film basically dies after this sequence...

Unironically this is a great action scene. The smokey speed effects are really unique and the simulated one-take during the short chase a the start was amazing.
The morbing in this scene is unparalleled and should be nominated at the Oscars for its sheer brilliance. I cant belive that Leto actually learned to run on walls and ceilings for this role. A true professional.
I like how Sony made this scene, the fact they coordinated this scene is phenomenal. The message they made was made. Definitely one of the scenes of all time.
