- Milo (Matt Smith) pays a tense visit to his friend Michael (Jared Leto), who is being held in a high-security prison. In a hushed conversation, Milo reveals his daring plan to break Michael free, assuring him that he now has the means to make it happen. As Milo departs, Michael is left to ponder his friend's cryptic parting words and suspicious changes in behavior. A dawning realization hits - Milo has exposed himself to the same experimental serum, unlocking vampire-like abilities that could prove instrumental in Michael's escape.

Morbius follows Michael Morbius, a brilliant biochemist desperate to find a cure for the rare blood disease he has suffered from since birth. His experimental treatments splice vampire bat DNA into his own genes, giving him powerful new abilities but also an insatiable thirst for human blood. As Michael struggles with his dangerous new existence, he finds himself pursued by his former ally Milo, who has acquired the same vampiric upgrades. What ensues is a dark urban conflict, with morally complex antiheroes fighting for their survival against forces that seek to eliminate or exploit their newfound power. The hilarious thing about morbing is that Jared Leto has always taken himself so dang seriously
If suicide squad was any indication. He really throws himself into the character.
People often forget that a therapist was hired during the filming of suicide squad to help the actors cope with everything they went through with their roles.
Especially Jared. Like he went HARD as Joker. And I mean to the point where he sent dead rats to his co stars bc apparently that's what joker would've done.

What I love about morbius is that, even though he is slowly being taken by the vampire bat instincts, he is fighting it with his good heart and trying to correct his mistake. He is a vampire with a human heart. That is why he became an anti-hero character, neither villain or a hero. He comes a villain if other heroes mess with his goals to find a cure for his illness, and becomes friends with heroes if their goals are aligned.
Exactly! I don't care what the critics say about this movie! It did Morbius's character and struggles really well!

I like that Milo and Michael have different views on the serum and the powers it bestows on the user. Michael sees it as a curse while Milo sees it as a gift that has given him fantastic powers allowing him to go anywhere and do anything. Strength, speed, agility and elolocution are his newfound powers. I agree with Milo. Those powers would be incredible to have.

But the downside is the uncontrollable thirst for human blood. The possibility of becoming a ravenous killer. It's Michael that recognizes that danger and acknowledges it as the antithesis of everything he stands for. What Milo said in the shelves right; it's not who he is. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of Milo.

I liked this movie. Wasn’t the greatest I saw but it wasn’t the worst either. Lot of good parts I thought. Would have like a bit more action though. And if they make a sequel I’m hoping they kick it up a notch
