    Thank you! I love playing Lars, as his "flow" is super satisfying to me. I wish Dev's had given our boy some better / more versatile attacks through frames, but this is an amazing guide and really helped my understanding on mixups and using heat to better pressure the opp. nicely done!

    you dont need CH on 1,1,1 to get heat, just 3rd one has to hit, unless we dont expect 1,1,1 to ever heat without ch :]

    • @JusticeSoulTuna
      @JusticeSoulTuna  8 месяцев назад +2

      That's a fair point. Though I'd advise against just throwing out 111, since it's -13 (not -14 like in T7 tho!). Thanks for watching.

  • @Ennbeard
    @Ennbeard 8 месяцев назад

    d/b 1,3 (Low, High) also goes into LEN, however it's -1 on hit.
    Still worth keeping in mind, it's a fast 2 hit string that's gonna be hard to react to unless you're being predictable.

    • @JusticeSoulTuna
      @JusticeSoulTuna  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah, you're right. I also don't love doing DB1,3 cause it's Low-High, and gets launched by good players, but I like DB1 as a low poke on its own. Thanks for watching!

    • @Ennbeard
      @Ennbeard 8 месяцев назад +1

      Oh that's true. I've been auto-piloting as a bad habit but I have to remember there's a big difference between a 12f crouching punish (often just a ws4) and a full launch. I should hold back on the followup more often.

  • @nadya167
    @nadya167 7 месяцев назад

    One thing I found out yesterday is if you heat smash at the wall they are only -9~ -7 depending on the wall situation so they can still rage art if you are using DE 2. Out in the open they can't. If you use DE 1,2 it beats everything it but it's a high.

    • @JusticeSoulTuna
      @JusticeSoulTuna  7 месяцев назад +1

      Ah, that's interesting. Cause tbh there has been a few situations at the wall where I did Heat Smash but DEN2 lost to Rage Art. Good to know!

  • @deathmuffin2484
    @deathmuffin2484 8 месяцев назад

    I know it's not the best move to use but he also has another natural counter hit heat engager from db 1+2 into den 1, 2. If the first move counter hits, everything else is guaranteed no matter what

    • @JusticeSoulTuna
      @JusticeSoulTuna  8 месяцев назад

      As in, DEN1,2 is guaranteed after counterhit DB1+2? Cause I know that DEN1,2 is a Heat Engager. But if that's a natural CH combo, I'll need to test it. Cause I'm not aware of that.

    • @JusticeSoulTuna

      I just test it, and yes: it works. Thanks for the tip!

    All the set ups from ff1+2 on block are the same set ups as db1 on hit.
    1,2 and df1 are also backdash set ups too. But I usually backdash into ark blast if I feel it.
    But I guess with this new heat back dash into 3+4 might be better lol

    • @JusticeSoulTuna
      @JusticeSoulTuna  7 месяцев назад

      SEN4 is the obvious tracking move, and SEN3+4 will also track sometimes. Did I get it right? 🤔 Haha. I'm not shy about offering counter play, I often tell people exactly how to deal with Lars.

  • @iDenosis
    @iDenosis 8 месяцев назад

    Is the CPU not mashing because the punish you picked is not the proper punish?
    I think I ran into a similar issue trying to practice
    At least I think thats why

    • @JusticeSoulTuna
      @JusticeSoulTuna  8 месяцев назад

      I tested, and realized it's because your opponent is slightly in crouch when the Heat Smash forces them to block. So I have to set the CPU to do a crouching punish.

  • @MeinTeil94
    @MeinTeil94 8 месяцев назад

    yo, JIN is not mashing coz heatsmash forces crouch, it works like that with all atacks

    • @JusticeSoulTuna
      @JusticeSoulTuna  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah, I learned that afterwards. Luckily, my info still stands - if they mash WS4 or anything during your Heat Smash: DEN2 will counter hit them, and DEN1+2 will lanch them.
