I still think the dash b3 introduces unnecessary risk of drops in all combos and that can be even seen in tournament play. In all cases, doing a single b3 means the 212 will hit entirely (whereas it's usually b3 dash b3 2,1(whiff),2 for a measly 1 total damage difference against dropping the combo when the damage counter it's still around 50. My 2cents on T! 1 fff2 - it's not an execution matter as you often times mention but a timing one, waiting until the opponent drops the head on the ground there's a few obvious frames in which the legs go high up in the air, that's where 1 into fff2 gets easy to land and there's quite some time (in my testing from 25 to 30 frames after the 1 hits) to input it (still 1 damage difference in all combos) regardless, very useful information here!
for WS2, CH db+3, and CH/STB db+1+2, it is actually the same damage, or one more damage, and easier to just go ff+4, b+3, 2,1,2 ... since the second hit of 2,1,2 doesn't whiff.
Also, 212 is equal or better than 3,2 as an ender even when you don't have STB, because it works both ways, you just get the follow-up if you have STB and the same damage +STB if you don't (same as 3,2 but you have until the very end to realize you have STB). I think 3,2 is better in wall situations though.
Holy cow, thanks for the tips man. I'm a MK player and tried T8 when it came out, liked it but went back to MK and now i want to get into T8 again and Claudio was always my choice. This is very helpful
Dude he literally has the input counter that shows you what he’s pressing enabled on the side of the screen. Yeah you have to pay more attention to what input is what, but if you just take a minute to figure out what button is what on your character you’re fine
Needed this so I can be sure I'm not missing anything. Claudio with the unexpected dmg buff lol. I do need to get better at converting to the wall, but maybe that's just experience. Thanks for the video!
My go-to's for getting the wall are df+3,1 and uf+3+4. Either one works in pretty much any scenario, but uf3+4 is better if you haven't used bound yet since you can then use bound at the wall. In my experience, don't use b+4,3,2 at the wall, it uses starburst and still doesn't do the most damage. Instead do df+3,2 < d+1+2. It seems inconsistent if you bound at the wall, so I instead go for b+3,n+3 into either db+1+2 or db+3. Not sure if either one is ever guaranteed, but they both seem to cover most options.
Unfortunately if you want the new combos with STB this is what you have to do or you can just do the most basic combos possible like a single b3 into 212 but you are losing alot of damage, you just have to practice it and it becomes easy
@@RsKyLuck no when you are in heat you start combo with db 1+2 then side step ff4 b3 dash b3 theb 212 into 3,2 heat dash after that you could do 4 2 arrow
Same as the df1,2 instant screw version but with db1+2 not b2 but of course you would have to be in heat for the STB version and you shouldn't really be going for f3+4 during heat

thanks bud, a single b3 into 2,1,2 makes the combos way easier ! :)
The real sacrifice there is wall carry. I suggest only going for the extra b3 if you’re confident you won’t make it to the wall without.

Top tier Claudio content as always man, that heat dash combo with rage is NASTY too.
Would be awesome if while naming the inputs you had them on the screen in order as well

Just injected my brain with starburst, the power up is gonna be insane...

I am mastering u/f,ff+4,b+3,212,dash into b+3,d+1,2.
Then jab into running 2
For a total of 75-77 damage during starburst @RskyLuck
Just reached fujin!
Same I need death combos I want to learn
I’m fujin with hwo but my Claudio is red rank. I have awful combos with him
Raijin a few days ago. Good stuff homie 🙌🏻
Capped out at fujin.. currently learning combos.. literally made it to this rank without using combos
Update gives us counter play in “infinite” stages. Great Wall carry in starburst
I never managed to do the dash between the two b3 consistently :(
Keep practicing spend like 15/20 mins before you start playing just practicing this and then you will just eventually be able to do it I promise
You can also f2 for slightly less damage without a dash
Practice doing b3 then dash once u get comfortable then practice b3 dash b3( not in a combo just yet just do it to get the muscle memory
Thanks for this guide. Got to Tekken King!
Any tips for consistent jab running 2. I really appreciate it
Just got tenryu today, thanks for everything bruv 😘
Finally hit Kishin Rank. Ur videos are S-tier
Thanks bro. Really useful content!!
Can you do F1+2, 1+2 into wr2 heat dash combo? Best I can do is just 86
If you want to do that sure
Dash B3 seems way more inconsistent than jab wr3 not sure if it’s just me 😅
Very useful video ! Thanks for the tips 🔥
For some reason I just started claudio today and I only know one combo and I feel like he is kinda hard for me
It's kind of annoying that ff4 requires precise timing to connect after df1,2
Man these microdashes are finicky, I really would prefer more consistent combos.
Unfortunately if you want the new combos with STB this is what you have to do or you can just do the most basic combos possible like a single b3 into 212 but you are losing alot of damage, you just have to practice it and it becomes easy
Just do f2 instead of the second b3 and you’re fine. It’s 1-2 less damage but 100% consistent
@@PaperTigerLive No it’s not 1-2 damage less. It’s significantly less, does only 56.
@@IamLmoon just change with STB b3 to f2 or without STB b3 to 1 and it is 2-3-4 damage less dude
It's gets like this with every character once you start ranking up
Awesome vid, thanks!
does anyone knows the heat dash route?
Any reason not to do the UF3+4 into DB1+2 combo after DF1,2 starter? does 76 or 77 with Jab in WR2
Inconsistent, can whiff if not at the right angle
@@RsKyLuck yeh it is now I checked it, Nice one
im having so much trouble dash back 3 on the second back 3 in his set up to the combos am i Just ass?
@@Titaniumtitanz it will feel awkward at first but with more practice it will just become natural for you
hey rysky is it worth to use star brust in db1+2 after 3 2 heat dadh you could do 4 2 and it is like 10 damage more but use heat
I don't get what you mean? As in hitting 3,2F in heat and then using db1+2 as the floor hitting move?
@@RsKyLuck no when you are in heat you start combo with db 1+2 then side step ff4 b3 dash b3 theb 212 into 3,2 heat dash after that you could do 4 2 arrow
@@sololevelingxx7090 you could do that if you wanted to
what about f+3+4?
Same as the df1,2 instant screw version but with db1+2 not b2 but of course you would have to be in heat for the STB version and you shouldn't really be going for f3+4 during heat
Hey man thanks for this
🐐
why the fuck did i pick to main steve a claudio bruh something is wrong with anyone who plays these characters just play someone broken
Unoptimized
