Some tips for some new steve beginner about peekabo (pkb) and flicker (flk) stance, generally pkb is used for offensive while flk is used for defensive. Its easy to remember the directional input as flicker input is back as in motion of blocking while peekabo input is forward where any move with forward input usually is used for opening up ur offense or approaching enemy. Another stance which is quickspin (or albatros which is not actually is the name lol) also is a good approach tool. Its linear but could catch sidestep if u can play with ur opponent timing and u can press up/down to go for another spin which also could evade certain move. U also can go pkb after quickspin for pkb mixup. When there is a big space between ur opponent (lets say after a combo) its advicable to use quickspin to scare ur opponent even though there is a large distance between u and ur opponent.
@@pootietang3891glad it helps for you! I learned steve a lot from soul xcv youtube channel and his explanation is straightforward and easy to digest. Go and check him out
Initially found you for your paul, watching you play through soo many other charachters inspired me to see how many i can take through to garyu, its been a great practice for really learning my tekken, thank you
yes, you can do parry using LH stance while on heat. but it's only mid move not high move. hopefully next patch they allowing LH parry not only mid move but high move as well. just like Lidia H&E Stance 😅
@@Dominik-ru8on try having the bot block and then punishing with 10 frame jab string and then you go on steve use b1 and hold back to go into FLK, u will get hit either way
Its basically just frame input, atleast 2 frame leniency so its pretty tight. Need to practice the timing for it, input pkb manually right after you saw Steve recover from b2. Pretty tight but very rewarding.

Ive made my way to garyu with Steve but man, it feels like I need to work 10 times harder than others characters
Because you do....hes gameplan isnt the same as other characters so you gotta play him a bit differently to actually get the besf out of him
He ain’t lying, I’m fujin with him but it wasn’t easy considering I had to learn every matchup
But in the same sense, the wins feel so much better than on any other character
@@shaqrack1691 idk man, it stresses me more too lol
Yeah it’s true, but worth it in the end. And at least no one can say you play a cheap character 😂

I was looking for such a guide, thank you very much.
It would've helped more if there was voice also.
8 : 15 thank you so much for the tip !

Back4 stance can sometimes dodge lidias parry while she's in heat and counter hit too
@@MikeTitle B4? you mean Steve back sway?
How tf r u goated with literally every character
That’s what happens when u been playing a title for a long time lol

And there are still mfs that think Steve is cheap.
*We have to work for this shit.*
Waiting for hwoarang all in 1 guide patiently
It doesn't really matter but at 12:53 the notation is wrong... After the LH2 --> DASH--> UB2-->LH Cancel--> 1+2
Wow i just thinking of videos of how to play neuch, swear you can just read minds
Thx bro
FLK b 2 to ALB 2 has more damage, I've been using this one hehe it can also heat engage if you're in heat.
heads up, b1 on block is around -12f even if you go into flk. its a bug and has been a thing for while now. hope bamco fix it
probs not a bug
???

Hi, is your Feng guide still relevant or will you make an updated version soon?
Nice video bro
Too technical. Bring back Negan Bandai pls 🥺
Jk great video🎉
Seems like I'm doing everything right with 12:38. but I can rarely pick him up with the f2 db22, am I doing it the dash df1(21) too slow?
I have the same problem with many of these combos i dunno man
@@edwinhuber3851 you have to be very fast cancelling the f2 into db22
🥊💪
1:27 how to quickly go into pkb? I am trying f3+4 during/after b2 but cant get it to work.

garyu is low rank?
Is ff2 the best follow up after sonic fang
Also db2, pkb d2 is nerfed as follow up
Harada: don't ask me for shit !!!
I came from Eddy! I’m switching to one button fatality so it still feels like Eddy 💀
