Bought a Wednesday a few years ago, mostly to ride in the snow. But I've found I ride it much more in the dirt than the snow. It's a super fun trail bike. Plus it opens up a ton more riding. Rough, soft, rocky, junky terrain that isn't much fun on a traditional mountain bike can be loads of fun on a fatbike. Great bike for exploring beyond the typical trails most people ride.
Yea it’s actually a great year round bike and was waaaaay lighter than I expected.
I'm glad I saw your comment, I'm thinking of buying a Wednesday but don't want to drop that kind of coin if it's only good for snow riding!
@@suzybearheart530 Still riding it regularly on the junk trails that wouldn't be much fun on a 2" MTB tire. But they're a ton of fun on a fatbike!
Good stuff. I can’t imagine anything more fun than my Pugsley… but, all the Surly fatties are a blast.

I've always wanted a Wednesday and after saving for a year, I finally pulled the trigger on a new 2022.
I'm 5'-11" with about a 33.5" inseam and just bought a large - haven't picked it up yet. The closest shop to me that had one was about 3 hours away and as a bonus, it was on sale, so I bought it sight unseen. I'm hoping the large is the right size. From all my reading online it seems riders with similar height/inseam to me are in between medium and large, most are on large, fingers crossed.
Thanks for your video, it was helpful. I have a Long Haul Trucker which is my road/urban/light gravel machine. The Wednesday will be some of that but more so my summer trail, spring/fall mud and winter snow bike. I'm in Canada so our dry summer trail season is not too long LOL.

Hello I want to change mine to a 1x10. What size of ring do you recommend ?
30t or 32t should be fine. 30t would be better if you have a lot of steep hills.

Factory spec. It’s an older model. Current year specs and colors are up on surly’s website.

What size is the frame?
Large. This being a couple of years older, with a modern short stem it rides like a medium.
