    Let water rise up through the medium, and use a reservoir. For instance, use wide pots and a watering blanket that is fed by a reservoir.That way you don't have to water from the top, drowning microbes and fungi, flushing nutrients down, changing the pH suddenly, etc.
    04:34 That's the situation you're trying to recreate - unsaturated/drier and more saturated (never waterlogged) zones.

    high brix turns water into sap and sugars this helps plants in freezing temps!! water crystalizes and cuts turning plant to mush , so more sap like transfer!!! BUGS AND MOULD HATE HEATHY PLANTS!!!

    I found this vid did not exsplain things that well to me does any one have any other recomendations please
