I completely agree with Prof. Chandrakanth. I have been listening to Srinivas’s music from his very young age and used to pray what he will make when he’s 80 years of age with all that maturity of devotion and music. God did not grant that to humanity. I love you with all my heart Srinivas.
Charukeshi is a bhakthi pradhana raga. Vid Sreenivas has opened all the strings of the raga for the devotee to feel the almighty. What a talent he had. The god in him came out in the form of music which can enthrall any body, music lover or otherwise. Many a time, I wonder, why even musicians who are relatively devoted to god, also suffer so much. But MS never showed his sufferings through his concert music. Perhaps he swallowed everything and gave the best in him to the listeners. What a sacrifice he made, what a personal sacrifice, what a cost for him. Only god has our previous tapes and only he has access to our tapes. But Sreenivas earned so much punya not only for himself but also for his listeners who will be listening to him for ever as long as the sun and moon are alive!
no one can replace him....a divine being who lived only for music...thank u for living in our midst srinivasji...we miss u alot...I MISS U ALOT...the music fraternity misses u alot!
I like this ragam so much, that too played by Sri U. Srinivas and I always request my daughter to play this during my last days, so that I could directly go to heaven to meet Srinivas ji. 🙏🙏🙏

yes, this pallavi is in ratta kalai adhi thalam. the idippu is on samam. The purvangam structure is 4+6+4+6+3+3+3+3+1 = 33, and the karvai count between the purvangam and the uttharangam is 11. the uttharangam structure is 2+4+2+4+2+4+2 = 20. 33+20+11 = 64 which is the entire avarthanam.
