I ended up ordering a second E600LFP. The app support, internal power brick and UPS capability of the 500 just did not outweigh the higher solar input and more capable inverter in the 600. I will say that the 500 would make a great traditional home office UPS replacement. I use an E1500LFP to run my entire home office. It works great. The 500 would seem to be geared toward single day camping rather than any extended outings considering it's limited solar capacity. I see it more as an E300LFP Pro than a distinct product. My 2 cents.

P.S. We also have the e600lfp and it is a fantastic little power station.
P.P.S. I wish that pecron would have some updates to their app (bluetti has the best app for us right now, zero problems so far)
@@RamblinBobReviews I agree. I also have a Bluetti AC200L. The app is great. The Pecron app does it's job, but it would be nice to be able to use it to adjust charge rates.
This would be awesome addition to the pecron app :)
Having control over the charging speed is a awesome feature, we have it on a few power stations :)

Have two 600LFP's. Along with the E2000LFP and the E300lfp.
Meets my home needs and camping. Very versatile.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure where this product fits. It's only slightly cheaper than the more capable E600 or even 2 E300 units.
Much better options than the e600lfp and more battery capacity than the e300lfp ;)

@@RamblinBobReviews All 3 of them have their pluses. Personally I like the 1200 w inverter on the e600. This kind of stuff is all personal to each persons use case.

P.S. For me that e600lfp has been a fantastic addition to our power station selection :)
The biggest 2 things for me are the in/out 100 watt PD and no charging brick. The 600 drives me nuts with that stupid brick. Not enough differences for me to purchase. (Unless they would take the 600 in on trade) 😆 🤣 😂

Yes, and it is a real 30a port, able to produce 30a this time :)
P.S. any other power station with that 30a port....but having less than a 3,600 watt ac inverter is unable to produce the full 30a output
(The PORT is rated for 30a on those power stations, not the power output)
e3600lfp power station has full 30a output
120v @ 30a = 3,600 watts :)
@@RamblinBobReviews Down the road, 2-3 years. The wife and I, plan on getting a 5th wheel or a travel trailer. Live the summers in NH, then winter months in LA. Where her family is. Full time RV living. Besides solar being a requirement. Having a portable 30A solar battery, could be in the cards. But I already have several Pecron's for "in house" back up.
Having a 15,000wh (full system) would be awesome in a rv/trailer setting :)
* You could run anything you want, even up to 240v :)
This is our plan for pecron products so far.....
1. e3600lfp (15,360wh) -----> Could run the entire workshop for up to 1 week if needed :)
(plus 3,200 watts of solar panels so far to recharge that)
2. e2000lfp (8.064wh) -----> In the rv for up to 1 week of power if needed :)
(plus 1,000 watts of solar panels so far to recharge that)
(with that 500 watt car charger as backup if needed or wanted)
3. e1500lfp (1,536wh) -----> for mobile use for fishing on the boat or something like that :)
(can refill this from either the e3600lfp, e2000lfp or car charger when needed)
4. e600lfp (614wh) -----> can carry on my ebike if needed
P.S. All we need is 2 more ep3000 batteries and this will be a finished.
It has been a long road of saving money for this....
But we think, the feeling of having 24,000wh of power at the ready makes us feel much safer in life :)
For just $30 more I would have to go with the E600 because of it's much larger inverter.

@@RamblinBobReviews For those who's app does not work. Mine does not and I cant verify if the default config is good or not.
Make sure that you "RESET" the wifi on the machine before you try to set it up ;)
and that you have version 1.6 app

P.S. This nice thing about the hidden firmware is they are always set to "default"
