You're lucky to have rich friends as well. So it worked easier for you than it would for someone with no friends. However the universe will always find a way to help those in need. I truly believe that. Ive been listening for 6+ months daily on and off and never had anyone offer me anything like that however someone did ask me if I needed help when they saw me picking up a quarter on the ground. It made me think of this meditation as I expect he meant monitary help (rather than help picking up the quarter lol) anyway I am too nice to take advantage of people even if I'm in need of the money so I said no thank you but was still amazed that this does indeed work.

Homeless people are homeless due to various reasons many that have nothing to do with poverty consciousness. True homelessness is not a tent on the side of the road. The government has places that help people get on their feet.The problem is it requires them to work and stay off of drugs. Many people get comfortable living a drug addicted life where they live off of the tax payers food stamps and free health care. Most of these people shacked up on the side of the road are convicted pedophiles and violent repeat offender rapists that are 40-60 years old living off of tax payers hard earned money getting about 500. in food stamps a month looking for their next needle. They won't go through the rehabilitation process and reintegrate into society because of two main reasons. Number 1, they have to be sober. They are either addicted to hard drugs like heroin crack or meth, or are convicted pedophiles and don't want your help. Look at Megan's list include "vagrants" you may see several familiar faces. The people you see on the side of the road are 90% not truly homeless, they are vagrants- lost souls. People who are truly homeless as I was several times- it wasn't due to a sin or "poverty consciousness", it was due to being abused my whole life and having no family support and not knowing how to function in the real world taking care of a child by myself with no child support. I didn't pitch a tent and put a needle in my arm though. I got proper government assistance and did what I needed to do to get on my feet so I as a single mother with no family can be a good mother and provide for my child in a safe environment. For a damaged person that has never had a normal life that can be incredibly difficult. For a lot of people it's a matter of caring and wanting to do well in life.
