Even though I'm only half way through the video i just want to leave a little message to you. 💕
As for someone who struggled with mental health and body positivity i know it's a lot to handle. Get the help you want because you deserve it.💕 In my experience mental instability comes when we can't accept our phisical problems and such. It is hard it takes a lot of effort but I am sure you'll pull it through. You've already been through so much, and you deserve to be happy. Also don't worry about your tube too much, if they will replace it with button tube later. If the dangleing tube causes you less discomfort and pain. I'd rather go for it. And that it sticks out oh well, it doesn't worth to be stressed about. It's your body's way to show you that you are fighting.
Everything will turn better for you. 💕
I have gasptroparesis ehlers danlos and POTS too among a lot of other conditions and I am currently NJ fed so I know the pain of a new tube!! I love you and your videos

You are so strong Amy. I've had quite a few medical issues and so on. I was also on TPN for a little while, but my access was through my arm which was super annoying. I don't think you realise how strong you are. I know that we all have good days and bad days, but you give alot of us ( Amy's Amazing Army, hehehehe your followers) so much help, insight and knowledge. I just want to say a BIG and HUMONGOUS thankyou and Good luck or today ( I think it's today LOL). And also

The moment I admitted that I had and needed help mentally they said that all my physical problems around my chronic illness was “behaviour” related which is far from the problem. I hate it when they assume things instead of taking on board of what I’m telling them and how I’m feeling. I don’t understand why they can’t listen to me 🤷🏽♀️
Same. As soon as my doctors found out I had anxiety, they assumed most of my symptoms were mental, including my cardiac symptoms. It took almost 2 years to convince them to do actual tests. When they finally did they discovered I had hEDS, arrhythmias (fortunately benign), P.O.T.S, asthma, and gastroparesis.

Good luck for tomorrow hun, I get how anxious you are feeling as general anaesthetic for us IF patients is high risk, I’m no longer allowed to have GA anymore unless it was life-threatening situation and I needed GA as my life depended on it, I have to go through all my procedures with lots of sedation or they do a spinal nerve block similar to an epidural it numbs you from waist down & this is how I have all my peg and button surgeries or any other tummy surgeries. Anyway I’m babbling too much now lol 😂 just wanna say I’m sending you loads of good luck wishes your way and pray all goes well for you Hun. ❤️❤️

Hi Amy! I want to thank you for speaking about physical and mental health. I live with severe chronic pain and struggle daily with both of those and yes, it is very difficult to deal with. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your vlogs. It feels as though I have someone out there who knows how I am feeling. I am so inspired by how strong you are to still get up every day and live your life. For myself, I am at a point where I don't go out anymore very much due to pain or mental issues. Thank you so much for sharing your life, because for me, you are a comfort and you give me hope. Bless you and keep staying strong ❤
Yess! Seeing a therapist now for depression and dealing with my chronic illness. It can be so overwhelming. I feel for ya chick and that totally sucks about your tube. Hope things work out for you. Love how relatable you are .
I had the fun time of getting my PEG changed yesterday. Was supposed to be at 1pm...happened at 5pm. On the plus side they measured me for my next tube so I can have a button! I know exactly what you were taking about with clothes not fitting right with the PEG tube dangling down. I struggled that with my outfit today.

Omg yes same but the other way round i have chiari malformation, which causes rlly bad headaches etc, and the doctors thought that I just had anxiety(cus I kept throwing up) it was so annoying because I really am 100% happy! Anyway I'm fine now jus I had brain surgery( lol u didn't need to know that)
I will be praying that your tube is able to be fixed!!!! I know how much it suck not know if when you wake up what kind of tube you will have. Also how stressful it is to keep going under general anesthesia. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully you will update on Instagram how it goes!!! You two crack me up lol 😂. I have to have teeth out under GA or under sedation. The last tooth I had out has left me with an underbite. I’m now under maxillo facial team to reset my jaw, bloody arthritis!! You are looking really well Amy, I know you struggle daily but your you are so much stronger than you realise. You're such a beautiful person in general. I wish you were in better health. I deal with some multiple health issues but not nearly like yours. Anyway, hang in there, you're an awesome person no matter what. I've watched your videos for about a month now and some past videos. Just remember, you're very brave for going through everything and many people are always wishing you the best in everything.

Wishing you all the best for tomorrow, at least you can have tpn - I waited three days for surgery with nothing but water for an hour each day because general anaesthetic doesn’t seem to work for me (not something I want to describe the day before you get surgery!) and I have spinal blocks/sedation instead, so kept getting bumped down the list.
Such a bummer that your tube broke. Hopefully they will be able to fix it so you won't be sick anymore. Something on the things that make you go humm with vampires!? I might know. Sending you all the good vibe and positivity for a easy surgery. Wanted to add how proud I am of you for recognizing that you need help mentally and physically. It is very hard to find a balance. I know we try to help, but it is just not enough sometimes.

But, you NEED the drainage NOT the ng! The ng isn't going to do enough for you which is why you have the button, obviously! The doctors have GOT to think this shit through! Love you, girl! Keep smiling!

Goodluck for the tube fixing!!! It’s horrible having to go under-but I guess better than having to have a traumatic procedure done awake. We are all cheering for you!!! (As a nurse that can no longer work due to health issues), I was just wondering if you tried Coke/some other carbonated drink down your tube if it’s suspected that it’s blocked-it usually works in my experience. Just a suggestion-that is probably useless to you right now, but may help in the future!!! But if it isn’t blocked, and possibly kinked instead, unfortunately the fizzy drink won’t work.

With the back pack the velcro bits you put together at the start go on top of the second layer, thought I’d let you know for next time! So you put the left big panel over first , then the velcro bits from the bottom followed by the right sided part. I hate the back pack to it’s so ugly 🙈 been trying to find a alternative for ages

I had that problem 100%.
Before I was diagnosed with cancer ALL doctors thought I was either a drug seeking addict or my symptoms were psychosomatic.
Because my file says I have a history of depression and anxiety.
So it took 2 years to be diagnosed with cancer and by the time I was diagnosed it was terminal.
.... because it's all in my head... and every doctor just wanted to give me antidepressants when I needed CHEMO!

I will be praying 🙏🙏 🙏🙏. I have been going thru shit as well. I've heard good things about app headspace for a bit of self therapy. I've got to give it a try. Because like you I don't want to bring any emotional days up to any Dr for fear of them over reacting or insisting I go on antidepressants. I feel we chronic illness suffers deserve to give our selves a break. This shit is hard. And there truly are going to be times where the positive attitude and things just aren't enough. I just had brain surgery and had to be attached to soooo many machines and had a Catheter and 3 cannulas, I literally cannot imagine how frustrating it must be to be attached to tubes 24/7

Could you do a video on ways you keep your teeth healthy with gastroparesis? Personally I find brushing my teeth hard when nauseous. Plus I’ve done so much damage to my teeth that dentists ask if I’m bulimic or and alcoholic.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth out under general, it wasn’t too bad. Better than having them with local, as I just had 2 molars taken out on 16/4/19 and it kills (had to have them taken out for my braces in 2 weeks)

Im not getting help from doctors for my physical problems because i have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety so they keep blaming them even tho im feeling sooooo much better mentally and its more than frustrating
I know the feeling. I'm only 26 and I'm on oxygen with many health issues. Because I'm so young I'm finding it impossible to get help with my pain. It's so completely awful I have problems with just getting out of bed because of the pain.

I never used. The TPN backpack just use my cath Kidston one as connected 24/7 and that backpack. Is so heavy!
When she soad I woulnt wake up again I started crying , she was such an amazing person and my gielfriends best friend. Amy was so important to worry yet I live a life that's worthless.. if I could exchange it for hers I would in a second. L

Chemist as in a pharmacist?? In the USA chemists do lab work and make meds whereas pharmacists dispense your prescriptions (meds). Terminolgy is different I guess.
