For those who want to know: The CAI NAK 9 and 9S will hold 66-69 rounds. The PSA AKV will hold 56-59 rounds. The guys at STInc are still in the process of optimizing the followers, so the round count may change before final production.

Notoriously unreliable in dirty environments, harder to carry/pack multiple mags (strap several 2 liter bottles of soda to your IBA for the real experience) harder to manipulate, harder to reload. "Neat" doesn't actually translate into a useable product. I wouldn't have such a problem if they talked about it like the range toy that it is, but they dissect this thing like it's better than sliced bread. Conical magazines have been around for decades, but never seen widespread adoption. There's a reason for this.

We use Formlabs Fuse 1 and 1+ SLS printers in Nylon 12 and Carbon Fiber Nylon 11 for prototyping and some production parts like grips, mag extensions and even our bullpup kits.

Next year, Stuff & Things should show off an AK-74 helical magazine (just like the North Korean helical magazine).
And it'll probably work, cause as far as I know, there is no footage of the NK AK firing with that mag
