Nice! I have a separate attachment that is just for scarifying so I switch back and forth between the 2.
I haven't tried this attachment but I'm wondering if the angle of the mount bracket isn't angled enough to really dig in with the scarifier. My scarifier is made by the same manufacturer and has a much steeper angle. If you were to tilt the planer at that steep of an angle, the farthest tip or fingers of the planer would touch the ground way before the scarifier could really dig in deep.

I purchased mine through a local equipment auction but I see them on eBay and locally on Facebook marketplace in the $1500 range. Prices may be different in other areas.

Did you the "float" function while using this?
For what I did in this video I did not, it made such a quick work of the small space that it wasn't necessary.
However I do use it periodically when using this attachment. Did you pick up a planer? I love mine
