Holy sith, this is exceptionally well done! Bane is my favorite character and I absolutely love the way you told the story. Couldn't have been easy to put together the visuals either. I'm very impressed and appreciative.
I loved the story, but I have one criticism and question. What’s the deal with the use of visuals using characters that have nothing to do with the storyline? Such as Darth Vader and Anakin and others. It’s sort of threw me off at times I figured maybe you used those because there was lack of artistic rendering of the characters you were depicting. I’d like to hear your reasoning. Thank you.

To get all those commissioned would be a multi-million dollar project. This already took 200+ hours, and it’s free, so forgive the lack of picture perfect scene relevance please :)
They would fumble a movie so hard lol and bane needs a whole trilogy not just a single movie one 2hr movie per book or a mini series that’s 6 episodes and she’s time jumps after every two or three episodes

People clamoring for Bane and other legendary EU characters/eras to get their own shows or movies need to remind themselves who is in charge of that kind of thing now before they get too excited. I think the best we can hope for is that they don't start coming after fan-made gems like this and just let us enjoy what once was.

Only thing I don't like about Bane's story is that he tried to possess her body after she defeated him in single combat. Think it would've made more sense if he died with smile on his face because his rule of 2 philosophy
I always wanted to read about bane having to go back to Groshiks cantina. I loved the interaction between des and groshik and thought it would be cool to see how he treated groshik once he was the dark lord of the sith , especially since groshik helped him and Des promised to make it up to him . Would Bane consider that promise null and void since he became bane ? Would be cool if he somehow ran into him maybe groshik would be in prison because the republic blames him for helping des escape justice and then maybe the jedi tracked bane back to oro and interviewed groshik to try and learn about bane . Some type of short story would be awesome

Him struggling his entire life as a Cortosis miner (slave) 12 hours underground working a pneumatic jackhammer with diamond bits that constantly had to be replaced, how he was forced to take a life to survive, and running away was what landed Des in the Sith military Gloomwalkers!
At some point in the books. I can't remember why cause it's been so long, but Bane had a twitch where he would clench and unclench his right hand. After the battle, the book closed with Zannah having that same twitch.
Yeah! That's a great detail. It creates some interesting implications considering the essence transfer ritual is supposed to basically destroy one's soul in the case of failure. Maybe it suggests that it actually doesn't? Not completely, at least.

Good question: it's got to be sometime after meeting Zannah and before he decided she was unworthy. In my rendition, sometime between parts 2.5 and 3. I can't recall from memory if there is any specific scene, though.

This was great. I haven't read these in a few years but i thought i remembered zana's hand tremoring at the very end like bane's had been by the end of his life. Like a sort of wink-wink is it REALLY zana? If that didn't happen I'm confused as to why i remember it and if it did happen i feel like it is too important a detail to leave out of a retelling like this though.
Probably not. Bane was insanely powerful w/ his Orbalisk armor. The parasites were probably strong enough to stop or delay Zannah's Sith tendrils, and since the spell takes so much effort and concentration, the battle's basically over if Bane can just close the distance.

There was a little snippet in the story that leaves just a hint that maybe part of Bane remained. Bane had the tremor in his hand, and after the battle of wills, Zannah had the same tremor. So it is possible that he simply took on her identity, or that part of him remained within her.

Groshik would be meaningless to Bane, as he abandoned his former self & life, along with all personal relationships.

You really skipped over his failures. Bane's loss to the Zabrak essentially caused Bane to grow in secrecy, which inspired the rule of 2.
