- It’s here. I know, you’ve been asked for this for years… and it’s finally here. The Kingdom Hearts 3 segment of the Timeline Project is ready!
This is a trailer I made on the last week and I myself got hyped while making it, because I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been doing for the last year. Yes, you read that right. It literally took several months to get everything done.
All of the videos have already been recorded and edited. And I just can’t wait to show you, especially the Keyblade Graveyard part.It took a lot of planning and an impressive amount of work to get this done.
I worked on this with a single goal in my mind - creating the best, definitive Kingdom Hearts 3 experience. Not the usual gameplay, not the usual battles. All of the boss battles have been edited like proper montages, so they could get synced with musics, camera angles, battle quotes and more. A lot of my focus went into creating an actual feeling of teamwork between the Guardians of Light, as well as re-creating most of the stuff that the original KH3 story was lacking, and that we were all expecting. This trailer is just a part of the complete project, so expect more surprises when the videos get released on the next weeks.
No matter what, I always find a way to go back to Kingdom Hearts and express my dedication to it. Thank you, again, for keeping up with the saga (and with me!)--

- Explaining the Kingdom Hearts Timeline project -
As many of you already know, the Kingdom Hearts Timeline project started back in April 2018 as a way to prepare all of us for the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. What is the Timeline project? Basically, you'll see all of the story events as they chronologically happen. Which is seemingly easy to do, but...if you're familiar with Kingdom Hearts, then you do know the series is so full of flashbacks, callbacks and retcons, that it's extremely easy to lose track of them.
I always like to think of the Timeline as an experiment. I wasn’t sure if it could be a welcome one but, somehow, it was so well received that it exceeded my expectations.
The original Timeline was just a way to re-live all of the Kingdom Hearts titles leading to KH3, in a different, yet familiar way. I never had plans to go back to it, as I was fully aware of all the flashbacks and callbacks that could be added in the future titles. I don’t really like the idea of uploading new, fixed episodes every now and then-it would just confuse all of you (and, more than anyone, myself!)
I can’t stress enough the purpose of this project-this doesn’t want to be the best or the perfect way of experiencing the Kingdom Hearts saga.
All of the titles should be played following their release dates. The Timeline is simply an alternate way of experiencing the story we already know and only players who already played the games should watch it. New players would be spoiled about some plot points, so be warned.
This project gives you a different perspective on specific events, and the adding of new musics, flashbacks, callbacks and secret reports, makes the whole experience even more unique and immersive.

As amazing as all of this is, the fact that olympus has the old kh2 hud before it truly becomes kingdom hearts 3 is just a mindblowing detail, and i cant wait to watch the rest of it!

Now, here you are, making masterpiece after masterpiece for this franchise, from the edited BBS Playthrough to this Timeline series. And here am I, still gazing in awe of your achievements.
I'll reserve the rest of my words once the proper videos come out, but from this trailer alone, everything is just...AMAZING!

You're timeline series gave me the chance to experience the games when I was only ever able to play the original so many years ago. Now that the franchise is finally available in its near entirety on Steam I've finally been able to experience it hands-on like I always wished I could. Once I've gotten through the second collection and 3; I'll be headed right back to your channel to see the amazing flourishes you're renowned for adding to the games. Thanks for putting in all of this work Everglow, you've made being a fan of Kingdom Hearts all the more worth it 🙂

I am so hyped for this, I can already see some of the changes you made with mods and edits in this trailer like being able to use the Drive Forms from KH2 it may have been a long time coming but from what I can see it'll be worth the wait. It'll be awesome to finally be able to watch the entire Xehanort Saga from start to finish... at least what they've released so far.
This trailer had be bursting into tears several times, can we just take a moment to appreciate how deep that line "Don't hold back Lea, promise." cuts us, especially knowing the last moment between Axel and Xion was their fight when she says that.

I cannot imagine the amount of work and effort it took into making the KH3 episodes of the timeline. Ever since the series came to PC, I was wondering if you'd be giving it that Everglow magic, and from this trailer alone, I'm *extremely* hyped!
I remember watching the Timeline episodes, leading all to way up to KH3's release, and here we are, years later, with that game now officially a part of the timeline.
