Hardware Sugar builds computers. The shop is in Makati. We focus on having cool parts for cool people. Just reporting this now. Bought the exact model last November 2020 and it just broke today January 18, 2023. One of the 5 chair legs broke off and noticed a 2nd one is cracked half way. 120kg 6'2 body frame. Back tilt also gave out probably a year ago. Black padding on both the arm rests cracked to the point that it became uncomfortable requiring a padding of sorts. Mesh seat is durable though, but you can definitely tell it's been used at this point since every foam padding at the edges seem to be crushed down and the mesh feels loose at this point. I was told the F07s is the alternative so I'll test that out.
Edit: Managed to purchase a 5-star chair legs replacement from the store I bought it from (Furnitura PH). I'm still using it now. I'll update if any else breaks.
Love the video review guys. This is my first time stumbling upon your channel and have I never seen someone talk so enthusiastically about an office chair. The way you describe the chair down to its intricate details really solidified my decision to buy it for my PC setup, and the effort you guys put into the scenes are better made than most content creators I've seen on RUclips. Most content creators film in dark spaces, but watching your guys' video felt like I was inside a brightly-lit high-rise office space. Love the white and bright setting. as well as the face-forward mic setup. Keep up the great content.

Why do you think they didn't?
For the armrests, I bought some generic PHP 380 armrest cushions which solved that problem. The ones I bought are memory foam, and had the exact same shape as the armrests on the M57 so that was great. Only problem was that they came with velcro straps, and they were too long, had to cut off the excess because they would dig into my arms sometimes. Anyone looking into getting armrest cushions, try getting ones that use a garter instead, that would probably be better.

I recently purchased the M57 Sihoo chair and really like it allot and I am a new Mesh chair fanatic now. This chair adjustments are incredible for my home office. The assembly hardware for this chair is quality that makes assembly especially fast and drama free.

I agree with the frame of the. You can sometimes feel it, but not much of a detractor para mag shy away ka into buying this chair.

Sir, what do you think of the Noku N57, the so called "successor" of this chair. It looks just like the M57 but with some "upgrades" as they said. Based on one video review on youtube it reclines much further than the M57.

Is the tilt tension set at max only good for people who are 200lbs or less? Thats what Im finding one the most common problems of cheaper chairs. Im 230lbs and only higher end chairs seem to have decent tension. Otherwise, even set on max, the back just falls back if I lean even slightly.

@@Odnomah SLR. Yes, definitely recommend it. It feels durable. The headrest is a bit low especially for tall people sitting upright. But other than that I think its worth it. I also bought the foot rest in this video, sadly, I don't recommend it :(

What chair would you recommend that features seat depth adjustment when reclining? Like when you recline the seat moves forward a bit.
Hi Jujocom, I haven't tried one yet for long periods of time. What I have tried for 20 minutes was the Herman Miller Embody which has that seat adjustment. It is definitely a good thing to have however after spending time with my Aeron, I realize that it's not required for every chair. In short, while I cannot recommend a specific chair with that feature, I wouldn't say a chair without one is a deal breaker. But I really should review a chair with seat depth adjustment. Thanks for the reco.

I've been using this chair since last year and this review is accurate! Loving it so far and I think it will last a long time. I got mine from Qube/Ofix which they sell as M16 XTM which is weird! The advantage is they have it on stock but only available in gray. I preferred the light gray but I didn't want to wait that time.

Thank you Hardware Sugar for this review! You are the reason I bought this, and sobrang walang sisi. Sakto naman sa desk height so walang prob for me sa armrest. And with the 2-year warranty ng TWU, at least may peace of mind ako. My previous one (another chair you reviewed, but I didn't saw that before my purchase) didn't even reach its first year ☹
Thank you for the review and for the spotlight on armrests. It might have been appropriate to mention that the lombar support is not height adjustable. It doesn't seem to have it.
Would you recommend this over the Sihoo M90 for a someone a bit shorter? (I’m 5’3)
I know u pointed out that u can wipe clean the chair but since I'm lazy gamer and spend most time playing than cleaning, how can u deep clean the whole chair, either this model or mesh, cloth, leatherette?
I just recently bought an m18 and was planning to upgrade to the m57, this video is so helpful because the armrest being too stiff is a huge dealbreaker for me. I guess I'll stick to the m18, thank you!
Glad we could help! You can solve this problem by buying one of those cushion attachments but that ruins the aesthetics. :)
How is the m18 doing. How is the lumbar support.. Many reviewed it as hard as brick and painful. Are the arm rests soft enough.
@@iitmadrasgraded Hey, so far my only concern with the lumbar support is that yes it is stiff but it does help prevent you from slouching in some degree but not painful at all for me, biggest concern for me is how aggressive the headrest is and how strict the chair is for you to always sit upright. Not really a chair you can relax with after a day of work.
Im searching for a new budget ergonomic chair, do you think this one will be good for me? Im 6'8'' (205cm) and 205lbs (94kg), and if not do you have any recomendations of budget chairs for 200-300$ for very tall people?

I just got my Sihoo M57. Before this, I have been using my Sihoo M18 (which I sold already). I actually feel happy with it but my friends says that, Sihoo M18 feels more comfortable than this M57 because of how they differ from the softness of the seat. What are your thoughts about this? And if possible, can you make a comparison video of these two? Thanks a lot!
Both are very similar other than one is mesh and the other is cushion

Hi there, I know you mentioned in your previous video that the chair squeaked a lot, and in this one that it got fixed however, I want to be completely sure that it’s not squeaky so it doesn’t bother me when studying as I have had a gaming chair which i had to return as it squeaked like hell.

I just got mine yesterday and it feels great! Word of caution to those with a height similar to mine (5'6") or lower, order a foot rest. My foot reaches the floor, but it's not comfortable enough that my thighs feel numb after a few minutes of use. Even at the lowest seat height, it is still not comfortable enough. The back posture though is great! No more back pains for me after hours of use.
I am 1,63cm tall, do you think the seat depth will cause a problem with my knees in the seating? Im concidering this chair but im worried that the seat depth might not fit for me
@@derpsterPRO Yes it would from my personal experience. It could be fixed with a foot rest/stand though. I suggest looking for a better chair to suit your need. I plan to look for another one, sitting with the footrest feels different than naturally letting your feet down

Can you move the lumbar support up and down? I'm a bit on the taller side, and I'm worried it might not support my spine properly.
Ahhh I did leave this out. Thank you for pointing this out. Yes! The lumbar support goes up and down. It goes up pretty high, actually, I don't think you should worry regardless of your height unless you are an 8 footer :P
