  • The video starts from halfway of the ascendancy from Dingboche (1:11), a Sherpa village at an elevation of 4410m in the Khumbu region of northeastern Nepal🇳🇵. This was a necessary detour as an acclimatisation hike during the sixth day of the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek, while spending a day at Dingboche.
    Nangkartshang Peak (27.90400°N/86.83370°E) is a spectacular milestone in Khumbu. This peak is called by the name of the old Nangkartshang Monastery, located below the peak. From the peak one has the best view of Imja Valley and the three highest mountains in the world: Mt. Makalu (8463m), Lhotse (8749m, 0:18 left), Cho Oyu (8201m) and Island Peak (6189m), Ama Dablam (6812m), Kangtega (6782m), Thamserku (6623m), Taboche (6542m), Cholatse (6440m).
