I was lucky to hear lots of great records when they first came out, and my co-workers and I wrote reviews for them. THIS gets 5 Stars!
I look at this video and see myself a few months ago :( I'm so sad for anyone going through a break up. Please don't lose hope, it gets easier to handle. It will not go away completely and a picture of them popping up somewhere will still make your heart skip a beat, but the misery will get duller and duller until feeling sad takes less and less time out of your day.
This song helped me understand how much I loved pop music. A great bass line, a sweet hook, magical harmonies, and then lyrics that mean something, at least to me. Love everything about this. The 80's high school drama sort of feel only strengthened by the opening and ending "I Was A Fool" title credits that reminded me of Flashdance, just perfect. Travis's work is magical. This song, is magical, and inspiring like all of Heartthrob.

A great song deserves a great video. This video plays just like a Movie, of course, which makes the impact of both even stronger. Very Beautifully done.

great meaningful song! it reminds me of me and my dad (well him and my family) (properly sounds weird but I was a fool for my love for him and my loyalty when my family broke apart) but I'm tired of waiting for him to change!! waiting for us to be fixed! love this song I found it my accident so happy for it but a little sad to.

Very underrated song. Not many greats songs are truly great. It’s all about the melody and it has great melodies. It reminds me of my woman.
