3233 is the base module/board the watch firmware was developed for. The 02 (or 1-02 in this case) is the configuration revision specific for this particular module and depends on the jumper positions on the board that turn different functions on and off.
In fact, it's based on the same board. And after the jumper mod (disconnect the "timer disable" jumper and solder the 5-alarm jumper) the test screen on the W-800H will show the same 3233-1-02 config revision, as on the F-201WA.
Thanks for the video. Great little watch. One thing it is missing - it could display the current time in the upper right square, particularly in the timer and dual time functions. In both of these modes, that upper right square is empty.
Cool watch, i wish it was smaller though and had a bit better backlight. I prefer the w202, almost same functionality, smaller, better backlight. I like the way the f201 looks though and i like the resin buttons on the side.
I really wish those metal wire guards for g shocks were available for the cheaper casios, I live nowhere near the ocean so water resistant is fine but I don't think it would last long in the pallet shop where I work. I really like this LCD layout though so probably gonna bite the bullet and order a 5600.
Did you ever notice that the modern digital watches aren't nearly as accurate as they were back in the early 1980's? An early 80's Casio would keep perfect time (+/-3 sec) for a whole year, not the new ones, not even close. Apparently that's because the government didn't want such precise timing systems to be readily available to the public. Super-precise timing systems are an essential component in weapons systems and they didn't want just anyone to have access to them.
Sorry, I have no answer for that. I'm not a seller, and not located in India. Try check your local Casio distributor/seller, or try Amazon.com for international shipping :)
3 bar equals 30 meters, so of course you can shower and swim with it. Don't give into that fear the watch industry wants to make you believe that only 20bar/200 m watches are suitable for that.
i think this is kinda the predecessor of w96h, slightly less boxy shape, plastic buttons. but i think this watch suffers the same problem with w96h, it's the look. you either go super retro like 5600 or something inspired by retro look like w800h, or go retro-futuristic like databanks. this watch just look cheap to me, now with w96h with the same price and extra row of date, less value too.
Hey I'm facing a problem. The PM indicator (P) shows from 12:00 A.M. to 11:59 A.M. whereas it should be the complete opposite. How to fix this?? Please help 😢
Got mine today and I must admit I like the style and design of this watch.
Had this watch for 4 years - it's awesome. Bought specifically for the countdown timer, which I use every day.
Yes, one of the compact sized Casio with countdown timer. Thank you for sharing:)
Could you tell me how long resisted that original strap? Damage fast or last longer than others Casio resin straps?

Very good. Aesthetics isn't a strong point there but size, all these alarms and long-life battery are nice advantages. Thanks for your video.
You're welcome. Have a great day :)
Hi Sam👋 Would this module fit in the w800h case❓
I like F201WA functions but the other case better.
Haven't tried that yet. But if my memory served me well, I was once comparing the module sizes of both model, and they're different (won't fit).
Looks like a solid alternative to the w800h. Nice job with the video.
w800h has Water Resistant 100M, F201WA only 50M
I think so too, more feature although with lower WR rating.
Thanks for the appreciation :)
@@SamsWatchReview I have had a w800h for 3 years. I spend at least an hour in the sea every day. This is important to me.
That's great, it can withstand the WR even with daily exposure to salt water

Very well done review especially comparing it to the other 2. Not too small not too big, just nice 👍🏻
Thank you for watching :)

Good day.
Yes, thank you for pointing that out. If only it shows current time.
Have you looked into the F200? Definitely a nice looking watch with similar features.
Not yet. Thanks for the idea :)
I do like the lower water resistance which helps make the alarm volume louder.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You are right because of thin back plate the alarm is loud enough like f91w
Clear, straight forward instruction. Thank you!
Glad it helps :)

I never had the W202, but looks like it's similar to B640, awesome model!
Hi Sam, is this watch silent? Especially at the end of the C/D timer or does it beep?
Good day. It's not silent and has no silent mode. And, it will beep for about 10 seconds at the end of the CDT.
Looks like my video editing makes the beeping sound inaudible. Sorry about that :)
@@SamsWatchReview no problem, thank you so much for your quick response, this is an awesome detailed channel :)
@@fred7408 you're welcome, have a great day :)

Why not simply use an anti-scratch foil?
Yes, I also feel like best is F201 and W800H.
If only Casio make a watch with w800h shape and water resistance, with f201 functions, that would be awesome :D

Yes, my A168 is being the worst, losing around 1 second per day. The F-91W is ticking super precise.
@@knownuser0815 That's because the F-91 it's the preferred to build time bombs, price and availability aside.
You've watched too much x-files. Want it precise? Get an atomic Casio or a Timex.
Bang timernya bisa disetting hitungan detik gak?
Nggak bisa, cuma jam dan menit
Bro do you know when this watch released ?
Sorry. i have no information about that :)
@@SamsWatchReview thanks bro no problem🙏🏻
You did not specify this Casio F201 have a calendar alarm option for that 5 alarms.
It really helped me turn off my alarm clock, I accidentally set it into 12 midnight, and I don't know how to stop it,
not until I watched this video mah men.
I'm glad the video helped. Thank you for watching :)
How is F201 compared to your W800
More active features (alarms and cdt), smaller size, although less WR. I wear it more than the w800 :D
Is there a stainless steel version of the F201??
that would be great, but I've never seen one. :)
There's a silver plastic and gold plastic, no steel
It total awesome
Indeed, so many feature in small package :)
Where do I buy 800h?
You don't get in india so help me please

Min, kalo 1ADF dibandingkan dgn 9ADF kok ada selisih harga di Mchtwtch ya ?
Apa beda fitur ?
Fiturnya mestinya sama. Coba ditanyakan saja ke penjualnya :)
To what depth is this model water resistant to? Can I go for a swim or take a shower with it? No diving or anything like that.
It's only WR or about 30M, meaning only for splashes like rain, washing hands, and so on but not showering, swimming etc

How come mine is wobbly?
Do you meant the bands ? If so, maybe one of the springbar is loose :)

Yes, W96H has a more refined look and is more comfortable to wear, but sadly Casio locked its CDT and 5 alarms.
Thanks for watching :)
@Jason Boissonneault yes, an updated F91W with cdt, that would be awesome

Try to adjust the time, add 12 hours. Hopefully this will help:)
Nevermind I fixed it just moved the hours by 12
