- Florida Panthersin suomalaiskapteeni Olli Jokinen koki kauhunhetkiä viime yön NHL-kierroksella. Jokisen luistin viilsi ammottavan haavan joukkuetoveri Richard Zednikin kaulaan. Runsaasti verta vuotanut Zednik pääsi omin voimin vaihtoaitioon ja ensiavun jälkeen mies kuljetettiin sairaalahoitoon.
Zednik was behind the play and skating into the right corner of the Sabres' zone, when teammate Olli Jokinen was upended by Sabres forward Clarke MacArthur. Jokinen fell headfirst to the ice, and his right leg flew up and struck Zednik directly on the side of the neck.
I think Jokinen say the right words "What kind a fucking queston is that?"

i loved lombo, but Oilli is a big guy and can stand in front of the net so the people like Iginla can score...

Haluat varmaan mitalin tai jotain? Ihan hyvinhän tuo Olli englantia puhuu niin kuin suomalaiset yleensäkin. Tuollaisiin sivuseikkoihin kuin onko lausuminen täydellistä tai kuuluuko aksentti läpi kiinnittää huomiota vain suomalaiset itse. Esim. monet venäläispelaajat eivät tunnu monen vuoden pohjois-amerikassa asumisen jälkeenkään osaavan kuin muutaman sanan englantia.

wow. Jokinen played on a garbage team for most of his career. And you're complaining that he scores goals? When you have a goal scoring center you should be thankful. What is he supposed to do? He's not the coach, or the GM, or the owner.
Watch how he played for team Finland. He was crucial in the BMG against Slovakia in 2010. 2 huge goals. He showed up when he actually had a team, actually had a goalie, actually linemates that could compete. And it's not the other Panther teammates' fault either. It's just the way it is when your team sucks. It's the owner and GMs fault when it lasts so long.
I think Jokinen over reacted to the reporter wanted a sound bite from Olli to use for whatever news channel he's from and Jokinen has to go a swear at him. I get it, he's a little rattled because he just accidently cut a man's throat but come on, give the reporter some thing more than the f word to use on the news.

Jokinen case understand 110%. Reporters must focus questions. If Zednik have died that situation and reporter ask: how do you feel you killed your teammate. I am sure he want beat after that question.

Jokinen was always kind of a POS but I mean I guess I see why he's upset. I don't think he's necessarily mad at the Reporter but I think he's Mad at himself right there
