- I wasn't at all surprised at who they bottomed for this week's dual because it seems like any group with any type of criticism will get put there and there's always at least 2 with those criticisms that you can tell who will face off...But i was amazed by the actual dual though cause all of their voices really blended well and for once i thought one group before their untimely departure finally did something they should've done before with their performances...disappointing their gone though but let's hope that this final week brings out some stand outs again!
Did the right group go home? - Развлечения
The "Yes Nick Lachey" bit was so funny!!! lol
Claudia Jose, “I believe you”
When NBC first announced that this season of The Sing-Off would have "battle" segments, I was worried they'd be cheesy...but as the teams embrace the concept, they're just getting better and better.
I agree that this was Element's best performance (the "'cause my momma taught me better than that!" at 5:12 was a hint of what could have been), but it also had its shaky moments, and Vocal Rush was simply solid all around.
The battle is becoming my favorite part. The title of the show now makes sense.
Vocal Rush beatboxer is just a beast!
I though this was the best performance from Element, but definitely it was the correct decision to send them home
Tell me about it. She is fucking slaying my subwoofers.
I agreed with who got sent home. I haven't loved any of Element's performances but Vocal Rush have done some of my favorites.
Element woke up at the final cut. This is sad for them. I hope they take notes from this and keep going. Vocal Rush was really great though my gosh. This was a true battle though! The way all of them sounded and sang together at the finale of this song, Vocal Rush and Element was extremly intimidating. WOW! The sound. Vocal Rush brought Element out of there shells. :D
Kirsten Bledsoe Element nailed that last “I’m a survivor!!,” part, but I wish they had that energy from the start, and pulled back from the theatrics. I’m glad someone else caught their actual ability, but yes Vocal Rush was outstanding.
So this is the first time I'm watching/listening to Element, but they gave me a popular mean girl clique-y vibe. Maybe it was this song. idk haha
It was just the song. They're actually a good group.
I don't really remember their interviews, so I can't comment on that. On one hand you should give them a break about being off key. It's a lot of work to practice a song you're going to perform and to do this swan song where you don't know which part they'll have you perform. On the other hand, the other groups were able to pull it off, so there really isn't an excuse. I just wish that Element pulled it off.
This was my favorite performance of the evening... Intense. I'm so glad they clued in the value of the duals.
K.O. vocal rush wins. Flawless victory. Fatality.
Definitely best battle so far. Element was really strong in some points, but they showed inconsistencies. It was definitely their strongest performance. The right group stayed in, love love love Vocal Rush. This was so fierce, loved it so much,
Element sounds like they're arguing with someone every time they sing
It was painful to watch.
Holy!!! Starting at 5:26 Vocal Rush's Base just blows this face off clean out of the water!!! Very well done and VR certainly showed their diversity. Good call by the judges.
New name for the combined groups: Vocal Bloodbath
The Element solos were so bad, it sounded like they were yelling
I actually love what Element did at 5:18, but Vocal Rush still slayed
Just wanna point out that every group complemented each other after this, except Element
I'd like to point out that the one from vocal Rush said (or rather sung) "perfect vision" when he wears glasses
The battle was one-sided. It's like pitting Katy Perry against Beyonce in a singing competition. Perfect song for an almost all-girl battle.
Is only Element's lead singer was any good
*If
Wow what a great battle. Vocal Rush stayed...well deserved. I do see them making it to the end.
Definitely Vocal Rush was the right one to win this one. I thought Element did some things better here than they had in the past, which was unfortunate, but they were singing it like some sort of petty "I don't like you" song. Vocal Rush was FIGHTING. The real music in the song came out every time they took over.
That was intense! Both groups did so well! I'm glad Vocal Rush stayed.
I'm pretty sure we all loved Vocal Rush the best.
Vocal Rush definitely deserved the win, but I also think Element deserves some props for this performance. They went pretty hard. It takes both groups to make a battle awesome, so kudos to Element for going out with a bang.
whoever started off the song for vocal rush...that breakdown was awesome and she came out kicking ass with attitude awesome
"yes, nick lachey"
Element needs a bass
They have Jo!
That's just one, element is filled with to many high notes that I can't really hear the bass
One more bass or two would be helpful. I think more altos would cover the bottom so they would have a fuller sound.
Jo is good bass
@@dhietheowrgh912 Jo is good, but doesn’t have the sheet lowness or heaviness of the traditional bass (e.g. Tim Foust/Avi Kaplan/Geoff Castellucci)
Element sang so loud and high it sounded like they were screeching...
When you get bodied by highschoolers 😂
element doesnt hold a candle to delilah. split sounds were very evident. though i kinda like their girl power unity
Hated everyone of Elements performances. Its hard to be an all girl acapella group, bass is such an important part of acapella. Beyond that they just didnt sound good.
The greatest vocal collaboration in sing off history
Umm, Filharmonic and Home Free?
Joe LaF um.... vocal rush and ten
It is so good! I think it is the most intense battle by far.
Great battle! I still like Delilah better than element though
This was great I keep replaying this for the 5 time
If The Ultimate Sing Off was in Season 3.... it would be spectacular!
This was the best battle in my opinion! Both groups did amazing!
The girl without eyebrows on element creeps me out.
don't know why they took their hair out it basically looked the same way when they took it out
Jayna Lassiter they took out their ponytails :)
vocal rush killed it
The right group went home, so glad vocal rush stayed. They've been my favorite from the start. :)
*Left*
Good looks is the only thing that element had going for them
I don't like element's beatboxing, too much lip flapping; I understand that they do it because it fills up the low-mids in the mix, but their team composition in just bad. Also note that the girls in Vocal Rush and Ten had plenty of low-mids. With so many people on the team, they could have had at least a few dedicated low-mids girls. There might be a race thing, but that might just be me being jaded.
I couldn't find the video for the 6 group battle.. help please? :-( I want to watch it.
But the real question is, who did it better, Vocal Rush, or Delilah? :)
Vocal Rush knew they still had a chance. Whereas Delilah sang after finding out that they were eliminated. So it has to be Vocal Rush.
this is the best battle ever XD
Vocal rush kicked elements butt
Literally pitch perfect in real life
Bring this show back.
That was too easy, I knew Vocal Rush had it the second Nick mentioned the song.
I think that Element deserved to go. This is because they had scratchy notes. I don't know if it was a song though
ooooh so agressive!! loving that!
this is amazing :3
+Márinka See the winners of this competition season, Voiceplay, and then say they're amazing...
+HerzenGaming Home Free won season 4.
My mistake, I stopped watching the series halfway through, and honestly thought voiceplay won it. How HF won over Voiceplay idk...I prefer voiceplay to them, but yeah, I'd say Home Free and Voiceplay both put these two sets in the ground officially regardless because they both are awesome compared to this.
Vocal Rush had the better sound but Element had more interesting arrangements. What a fucking battle 🔥🔥
That was a good battle
The Real Stepford Wives of Manhattan vs Oakland kids. The song didn't mean anything to Element and they took a very theatrical take on it.
On a very superficial note, I'm glad the "tomboy" group won. I'll go now.
why is it the all girl groups get knocked out in the middle of the competitions?
Vocal rush, definitely...
I would say the movie Pitch Perfect was inspired by this battle if Pitch Perfect hadn't come out first!
how did i just find out about this??
THISSS issss NUTSS
Hello. Police? ?I want to report a murder.
i wish nobody would go. argh!
Yh Vocal Rush were gonna win that but it was sooo fun to watch that battle.
And Vocal Rush show how superior they are as a group. Different lead singers, excellent rapper and beatboxer, and they ALL are incredible!
Honestly Element should have been the first voted off the show. They have no harmony and too many of them are too nasal.
this might sound bad but they gave a white group a very soul black song
So racist bro jk but still I understand even if it's racist
How to make this preference a lot better? Let VR sing the whole thing.
Sassiest showdown ever
Joseph Xiber YASS
What the hell did I just watch
What is this
girly girls vs tomboys :)
Element sabotaged themselves. They were focusing on acting the part, not singing the song. It came across catty and sounded bad.
Vocal Rush rushed again from the get go.
BOO element doesn't have a bass
they do have a bass but it’s a bass with a limited range
I honestly thought Element won that battle...i mean Vocal Rush had better singers but I think Element is unique and they really made that song their own.
I felt like Vocal Rush's singers connected to the the deeper meaning of the song, (empowering yourself to overcome all these obstacles)
While Element more, "acted" out the song in an almost musical theater kind of way. And while I don't consider to be a bad thing, I think for them, it really lost the "empowering yourself" aspect that the song really needs.
