    The Chrysler 200 is a follow-up to the brand's generally unloved Sebring sedan. Using its forbearer basic structure as a starting point the 200 received a thoroughly reworked exterior, greatly improved interior, and a new name; resulting in what Chrysler hopes is a much more desirable sedan.

    Thank you so much for this comment. I have been doing so much research on what car to get for the past several months and have so much frustration with some reviews. No car is perfect especially for these test drivers.

    I had this car as a rental. It was awesome it had the 2.4 not to bad no complaints. It was a very nice car esp for a cheap low optioned rental car. It was awesome and good on gas for a sedan. Best of all the sticker on the door jam made in USA

    @100littlecurses 13 лет назад +1

    @arielatom03 Now, I will agree with you that the Benz is the better car. The problem is that all cars break, and when American or Japanese cars get repaired, it doesn't cost a lot. But when a German car breaks, (including Volkswagens) it cost a whole lot (mainly BMW, Audi and Benz. VW not as much, but still more than the comparative US/Jpn. cars)

    I test drove this car before buying the Kia Optima (test drove more than 8 mid size cars). I found the rear leg room lacking in this car. Also I noticed that the trunk is hinged so that if you open it on a rainy day the water will run off the back of the trunk lid directly into the trunk. Feature for feature it could not compare to other cars like the Optima, Fusion, Camry. Also the fuel economy is rather poor with the 2.4 engine which is rather noisy and unrefined.

    @PappaPak I think car companies give them a demo car to review. I don't see a reason for them to review used cars.

    Considering i hated the Sebring I actually quite like the 200, now they need to do a heavy redesign on the Caliber.

    The trunk is NOT small. I believe it is standard or a bit bigger than most 🤣🤣🤣

    I remember I had a Sebring as a rental a while back and the interior was laughably bad. Cheap ass plastic everywhere. I really hated the plastic that was painted to look like aluminum. The interior on this "200" doesn't seem as bad but still can be considered low rent.

    @EChid maybe the fuel bills and service costs, but its well known that both the 5.4 supercharged v8 and the 5-speed auto are bullet proof, much better than the modern 7-speed auto and 6.2 v8, and if you really want to be economical buy a hyundai accident, it will do 42 mpg and these days its even reliable. if you buy the merc youll be covered in luxury and power, if you buy the other two youll be covered in misery. your choice.

    I'm not sure where all you guys are getting these lemon Mercedes from. My family has a 2003 E320, 1987 260E, 2009 C300, and a 2002 ML320. Other than the ML we dont have any problems out of any of them. Besides, someone who can afford a Merc wouldnt be looking at Chryslers anyweigh

      In the US a Merc is a Mercury a car made by the Ford Motor Company. And most German cars become very expensive money pits as they age. And they do not hold their resale value in the US for that reason.

      @jwatwater 10 месяцев назад

      People huying anything other than stock or land for resale value are insane. My comments was 12 years ago. We have 2 other Mercedes now. They don't give us any issues.@@scrambler69-xk3kv

    @ACDC185 Cruz doesn't compete in this segment. The Malibu would compete with this car.
