Mick Foley gave everything. He deserves nothing but praise.
True that!! Favorite wrestler since " Cactus Jack Manson" days even!! My favorite on the mic and everything
Yeah
@Peter Stevenson yes
@Peter Stevenson If you didn't follow Foleys career then okay. But to cheapen his dedication and sacrifice like he came a dime a dozen is absolutely ridiculous.
@Peter Stevenson No. If he had failed YOU wouldn't have cared because you clearly don't care for his legacy now which perplexes me because what does it matter to you that soo many people Praise him? You couldn't do 1/4th of what he's done so speaking on a man's legacy you couldn't hope to come close to seems rather pathetic.
“Too nice for the wrestling business” is the highest compliment lmao
He is the nicest guy I've ever met at a wrestling fan convention so I agree about 70% to 80% but he wanted to be a professional wrestler so there is that
I'd call Mick the Jimmy Carter of pro wrestling - as my Mom used to say, Jehovah keep her, Carter was too decent to be an effective president - but unlike Jimmy (I'm giving him grief here, but Mr. Carter is a great man, a good Christian & a mighty philanthropist), Mick was sometimes the best guy on the roster he was in.
Dig it - Impact was a paycheck & he was sorely misused by them, but he was so captivating doing what he was doing that I'd watch them just to see Mick. They had a tailor-made opportunity to earn money w/a series against Chris Park/Abyss & they screwed it up. How? WHY?!?...🤬
Nicest wrestler I’ve ever met. Gave me a 3 minute interview for TMZ, a selfie and an autograph in a sea of fans. He’s the greatest guy you’ll ever meet. He’s like a real life Santa Claus and he really does love his fans.
corny has said Mick and Bobby Eaton are so nice of guys, if they moved in together. Bobby would have everything Mick owned, and Mick would have everything Bobby owned. lol
@@scotcarr3390 Instead they had Abyss be a Hogan wannabe Mark
Out of all of Vince's attitude era stars. Mick Foley was the most beneficial. He made HHH, Orton, The Rock, he brought out Undertakers sadistic streak, he made Edge a better heel and he helped Vince beat WCW. He was really great talent.
Facts.. Especially wcw.. Him winning the title on raw was beginning of the end of wcw cuz they snitched on live tv😂😂
It's crazy Vince didn't even want him at first
He gave HBK an edge and definitely helped him when he was Champ in 96.
@@jordanhutton5787 It's not crazy at all. Vince doesn't think highly of death match "wrestling", and Mic didn't exactly give any reason why Vince should've viewed him as a potential draw.
I agree with everything, except for him making the Rock. A handful of wrestlers helped make the Rock, but no one more than the Rock himself 🤷🏻♂️
i was surprised that they didnt mention that Mick Foley was in the Royal Rumble 3 times as Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love.
Sorry but, who cares really
@@ericcartridge1361 I Do!!
That was just a small part of his illustrious career.
Its more of back story and highlights. To be fair to do a real bio on these wrestlers we would need a mini series
@@ericcartridge1361 Nobody else has ever done it, have they? I think it was amazing!
The fact jim hates hardcore wrestling yet likes mick speaks levels to what kinda man mick Foley really is
Mick is smart and knows more than doing deathmatch stuff. Also i think there is levels of hardcore stuff that Jim Can tolerate
I feel like he doesn't hate hardcore wrestling. He hates Deathmatch wrestling. All this garbage outlaw shit with light tubes and pizza cutters and all that shit. There's a big difference between like a WWF or WCW hardcore match and a Deathmatch style of match.
@@Noobie2k7 i feel like that in order to do a good hardcore match, you to know how to work to begin with...
"I never understood socko. But god bless America" Jim says with a sigh. 😂😂😂😂
Hand over his face when he did it lol
It was something silly that got over with the fans which is the exception that proves the rule. Instead of leaving it at that and not overdoing it, they had to run with the whole thing and now everyone is acting silly and stupid.
Only foley could've made that work😂😂 rock and sock connection was just a awesome idea
I love how Cornette still calls him Cactus. I realize that was his first gimmick, but I like that stuff. Like how some still call Triple H Hunter.
@@caseyw1286 The reason it was great and got over was because it was the opposite of what Mankind/Cactus Jack was ever about. He was a tough guy that had a quirky funny thing as opposed to the full on comedy wrestlers that keep popping up now.
The Bret Hart one is gonna be interesting. Bret being involved in it won't be a hit piece. It's gonna mention his time in Stampede Wrestling, his tag team with Jim Neidhart, his run as WWE champion, his feud with Shawn Michaels, how he helped Stone Cold Steve Austin rise in WWE, the Screwjob, his failed run in WCW, Owen's death, Starcade 99, His Stroke, losing family members, getting inducted in 2006, returning in 2010, beating Cancer, Twice. Bret Hart had an interesting life.
@K yes bring back 1997 wrestling
hope they focus more on everything else in his career other than SS97
"Pleas, Don't forget
It's not over, yet...."
People complain about bret being "bitter", but after reading all of that and learning how much shit bret had to deal with, bret deserved to be bitter. He lost almost everything and everyone he cared about, his career ended untimely and he almost died from medical problems. I think fans need to be more empathetic to bret.
And he will take every opportunity to tell us how "great" he is. At this point, I've definitely heard enough of Bret putting Bret over.
Mick is such a likeable guy. I met him before. Above and beyond level of nice. Mick Foley is like the Betty White of wrestling. Everyone loves him.
So true
That's a good comparison. In YOUR opinion who would be the other three Golden Girls, though?LOL
@@bradpaton3927 Blanche = HBK or Flair. Sophia = Bret Hart.

Jim loves it when Brian loses his cool. He never does, but when he DOES, Jim enjoys it.
Funny , how people in the know said He would never draw,
So Mick just went and became a Pro Wrestling Legend.
Well done Mrs. Foley baby boy.
That was vince
4th biggest draw in the attitude era imo
Vince loved roid rage bodybuilders so he said he thought he wouldn't
@@cjskylark6659 well that's because he didn't draw Vince was right about that in the original mankind gimmick did not draw is when he switched to the white shirt he started drawing
@@LongHuynh-bx5ll that may not have been true or not because if you actually heard what make Foley said about it he basically all he heard was hearsay so it may or may not be true whether it's said it will work or not and the fact mankind's character when he first started was like The undertakers it could have gone either way cuz on paper the undertaker is gimmick was stupid as hell
@@austinburras2993 which is why he should of just let him be cactus jack from the jump
He was over as hell as cactus
Mick Foley truly is the nicest guy! He did an autograph signing a few years back at a local minor league baseball game, and I went to get him to sign one of his books. He was kinda going through the motions signing everyone's things, but as he was signing my stuff I told him he is my favorite wrestler, and he looked up at me, made eye contact, and said thank you very much in a real genuine way. And I just thought that was cool, just that brief moment really gave me the feeling he appreciates his fans.
thats an awesome moment with a person, a real human, cherish it, its long gone my friend, i met the APA once at stl hard rock cafe and it felt like at any moment a tv crew was going to come busting threw an a bar fight was going down, but they we just there watching tv smoking cigars and enjoying what seemed to be just some r&r
He blew me off when I asked for his autograph. Must have been having a rough day or something then. That or he didn’t like being in Michigan.
I got to see a house show in binghamton in 93. I was near the guard rails, against the rules, after the Steiner brothers crushed a match. I got to shake Rick's hand and he looked me right in the eye and nodded. I think about that all the time.
Then we go yelled at by the announcer and I went back to my seat lol.
Undertaker was there also in a match against giant Gonzalez. It was a good night.
I went to a Mick Foley stand-up storytelling session and he spoke wonderfully about Jim cornette and even said he owed a lot to him because Jim cornette would go around to promoters saying you got to see this guy it's the damnedest thing he'll fall flat on his ass on the concrete and be fine
My fav moment to this day is when he became wwf champion, my soul was so happy!
He wasn't "that guy" enough to get a long-term run w/the belt, which irritates me a bit. I think he helped carry WWF/E as much as 'Taker, Austin & Rock did & should've gotten a long "fighting champion" reign.
But, also like 'Taker, Austin & Rock, he didn't NEED the belt. Mick was so talented & so over, he was THE guy to have as a utility player to spice up & lackluster event or house show. Unlike Michaels, Mick drew big money.
That night is when it started to turn in WWF's favor
Loved referee Marc Curtis in WCW. His reactions to the moves and selling them as a ref was pure gold. Having him in the WCW n64 game was 👌🏻
RIP Hildebrand
That game was amazing
My buddies an I played WCW an Wrestlemania 2000 for N64 we burned it out an had to buy a new one !!! BEST WRESTLING GAMES EVER!!!
@@michaelgerrish7944 good times. I did that too with my cousins

Mick's biography reminded me a lot of my childhood and upbringing. My favorite of any of these biographies by far. Seems as genuine of a guy as it gets. How could someone not like Mick?
I wish Mick and Bret would have had more time to work together. They had the two best minds in wrestling.
This was probably my personal favorite episode of the A&E Biography series.
It was a good one. I like Bret’s one best.
I thought the doc was really good, but I can't believe they left out the Rock and Sock Connection along with the "This Is Your Life" segment, which happens to be the highest rated segment in the history of Raw.
They were such an unlikely tag team and polar opposites of each other that is what their tag team so great.
Instead, they talk about him as 🎅 which could have been a shorter mention in the doc.
The thing that makes Mick one of the greatest is that he wasn’t just an idiot who wanted to do garbage wrestling. He LOVED wrestling and wanted to be great at it, and he was. Even when doing the most hardcore of matches, Mick always told a great story. And he literally gave his body up for our entertainment. The man is a wrestling legend that that I think we should all be very grateful for.
Flair disliked Foley’s style for being reckless in the ring. Strange how Flair couldn’t see that his after hours recklessness was just as dangerous to his long term health and wealth as Foley doing dangerous bumps in front of high-school sized crowds.
As crazy as Flair was outside the ring, he was extremely careful with everyone inside it. He's sooner hurt himself, with that said, he already saw the toll it took on other wrestlers....you wanna end up walking at the end of it....Foley can barely do that these days.
watching the hell in the cell with the undertaker i really thought mick was going to die that night. that was one of my "oh shit" moments of all time.
Mick Foley is an awesome dude, and hands down a legend in Professional Wrestling.
I always love The Rock N Sock Connection.👍
Facts it was entertaining
one of the best insane gimmicks in history you cant make this shit up
Never liked it personally. Too hokey.
Mick Foley put so many people over orton hhh rock edge he helped make so many people respect
The text Have a Nice Day is literally the reason I have a PhD. Outside of Faulkner’s As I Lay Dying, it’s the greatest thing I’ve read in my life.
Got it for Christmas the year it came out, I probably read it like 10 times as a kid. Besides being an excellent narrative, it introduced me to a plethora of swears and adult terms. Thank you Mick.

Mic Foley. Wrestling legend. Also the most polite wrestler of all time
How incredibly weird is it that while he is exploding in barbwires and slammed from cages to thumbtacks he is a writer too. And not just any writer
An amazing one.
Those death matches only looked good in the magazines
Amen to that.
I’m going to be disappointed when the A&E series is finished. An episode, followed by Corny’s reaction has become part of my weekly routine
Same
You can always rewatch the videos
I'm binging all Cornette's reactions today...lol
34:50 - they showed Colette and the kids' reaction to the Rock/Foley match on Beyond the Mat
They also show Vince producing the Dude Love feet segment.
@mike s yeah saw beyond the mat in movie theatre in 1999 when i was 16. still have the dvd. still watch it. best wrestling documentary ever.
I watched the other Mick Foley documentary, think it was Beyond the Mat, and when those kids were upset at ringside watching their daddy getting beaten up I was proper in tears.
Mick Foley gave his all for us ♥
As mick said kids are resilient they bounce back😂😂
Of all the things Mick Foley has ever done, that is the one that reflects the worst on him as a human being!
I think Mick is a really nice person but choosing to take multiple chair shots to the head, whilst handcuffed, when your young children are watching at ringside is completely unjustifiable.
So did Benoit. He gave his all to wrestling, eventually it took everything from him though.
@@gavinduenas3584 to be fair, rock was to blame as well cause he didnt need to hit him that many times but they both got carried away in character.
1998- he made Austin
1999- he made Rock
2000- he made Triple H
2003 - he made Orton
2005 - he made Edge
I enjoyed Mick Foley run in WCW as Cactus Jack. His matches with sting were classics.
A lot of fans will always remember Mick as Mankind in WWF, but he'll always be Cactus Jack from WCW to me... Bang, Bang!
Keeping score, Ole ran off Undertaker & Mankind ….. because they couldn’t work.
WTF
Picturing Cornette driving around town, flashing a rats giant balls at teenagers to scare them, is just about the most hilarious thing ever. 😆
He then looks over to his wife and tell her Because I'm a heel
Mark Curtis (Hildebrand) was badass! I loved him as a ref in WCW. He was so animated & hilarious. & he even took down a fan who jumped the railing & tried getting into the ring. Heenan commented on it.
23:58 "I never understood Socko but God Bless America"
Mr. Foley gave his all and was supported by his family. Especially liked his recollections during the various stages of his life and career
now, for some reason, backyard wrestlers are the ones who take wrestling seriously (as I've seen on some RUclips clips) and the professional wrestlers are the ones who play wrestling at each other.
lol, Terry Funk looking like a golf dad in the run out was classic for Hell in A Cell
Other than maybe Daniel Bryan, I don’t think any wrestler has ever generated as much genuine affection as Mick Foley.
The guy with the hemp title belt?
Only everyone who wrestled during his era and after his era and all the ppl who came before him
Then you, obviously, never saw Bruno in the WWWF or the Von Erichs in WCCW.
@@johnstrika9170 I wasn’t born at the time of Bruno’s run. I’ve seen footage of the Von Erichs, and I take your point on that.
@@johnstrika9170 bruno was very Regional but he was a god in the north east.
The last of the von erichs episode of dark side of the ring did a solid job capturing what they meant to texas. But unless you grew up in that era you really dont know how much they were loved.
The only thing missing was mentioning Paul Bearer.
My intro to him was when he went to WWE as Mankind. And throughout all of his runs and gimmicks, he was never not interesting on the mic. Just one of the all time wrestling greats and Have a Nice Day was just fantastic.
Favorite all time performer. Great promo. Somehow not only made all his characters work but made them awesome. He could be funny, scary, thought-provoking, deep, sympathetic. What a storyteller. Glorified stunt-man? I think not.
I can totally see Vince not signing Mick because he wasn’t 6’4 265lbs with 4% body fat. Thank god for a competent staff.
1996 mankind in the boiler room playing and talking with rats gave me chills
Yeah. I was 17 at the time and I was like “What the f#*k?!” 😳
Man the original Mankind with the screeching high voice with creepy music was the best
It made me sympathetic for him in a way
I shed a tear during this. Brought me back to the good days. I love this dude
34:40...
Yeah...Collette Squealing EveryTime Mick got Hit, Didn't Help TheSituation with Her Toddler Children.
I think they did more during the match than they were supposed to. Like, the rock was only supposed to hit him a few times with the chair and he did it like 11 times. In Beyond The Mat, Foley seemed irritated at the rock for hitting him more than he was supposed to. So I can kinda understand that his wife was caught off guard and maybe in shock.
@@bee6122 very true.
I was a sober pre-teen and I always loved ECW. I was watching every episode of WWF, ECW, and WCW when I was a kid. My dad and I would watch either raw or nitro on Monday night and set the VCR to record whichever we weren't watching then we would put on the tape when I got home from school Tuesday
Pure legend and I have much respect for mick and I loved his whole career and he truly is one of a kind and a kind hearted man with great values and was a great wrestler with many skills.
The Randy Savage one was the only one I really wanted to see. Not going to now. Wish it wasn't atypical from the rest of them.
Just watch everything up to when he went to WCW then stop (the last 15 minutes). The thing all the "good" ones have in common is their careers didn't end in WCW so they had more positive endings where as Savages final portion coincides with all the drama that was going on backstage there. Especially since no one associated with his post wrestling life participated to talk about it in detail.
Brian you are absolutely right I get goosebumps thinking about Stone Cold running out Chair shot boom Mick Foley still would have made it even if wwcw did not give that result I truly believe that
I thought this and the Steve Austin biography’s were the best episodes
Agreed
True, even Piper's episode was good.
@@darshannarayan5483 I concur.
I'd say this one and Piper.
Shawn Michaels one was good too
I get a kick out of the idea of Vince personally thanking Mick foe taking the iconic bump and telling him to never so it again
The thing about Mick was that he had charisma and dedication. The Rock got over with an overabundance of charisma. Benoit got over solely thru dedication. Rock could work a crowd with a mic, Benoit did the same but used his intensity in the ring to talk his game. Mic had both the skill to work a crowd on the stick and with matches that mattered to fans. Mick's best tool became his smile.
Chris Benoit!
@@georgefrancis8602 an in ring legend. The opposite outside of it.
@@FnRenner yup!
Benoit wasnt over tho. Great wrestler, but never sold a ticket.
Loved the whole "anything after that was a cash grab" and it comes up TNA 2008-2011 😂😂😂
I loved the way Mankind would talk about how we made him that way.
wouldn't be surprised that Mick is a great narrator, his autobiography book series are a great read and Foley writing it in long hand really helped
The first one is good. The rest are garbage
IIRC he has a degree in communications, so it's not unsurprising he would have the skillset associated with that field.
I think the pop for Chris Jericho's WWF debut is right up there with the Stone Cold and Mick Foley ones Brian mentioned.
Jericho's pop was big but nowhere on that level as far as a thunderous emotional reaction.
Mick Foley is fucking class. Shows you can be mega famous but still be a good kind person. We need more people like him in this world
seeing mick put on the original mankind mask again gave me goosebumps.
Love the part where undertaker slamms Mick an king says Good God he's Dead..lol
16:45 yeaaahh... that tends to happen when you’re not concussed every single day of your career, lol, the mind gets a little clearer.
IMO ECW bears the blame for the rise of the modern garbage wrestling scene. You don't see anyone chanting Foley's name when they do an insane spot, they chant "ECW".
Couldn't disagree more about the HIAC thumbtacks. They were perfect to bring the craziness back up after the huge bumps in the beginning. Added even more drama to the ending of the match. Also Mr. Socko is one of those things people easily remember from the attitude area 25 years later, so gotta disagree there too.
The thing about thumbtacks... They really hurt but wouldn't help a wrestler win a match
@@vincentmeyer518 Late to the party... But, IMO, anything that doesn't conceivably belong near or in a wrestling ring doesn't belong in a match. They've already lost me if I'm wondering why a bag of "implements" are even allowed. Even in a no DQ match. Why would any (shoot or work) athletic commission/company/organization allow, in full view of everyone watching, a wrestler to bring obvious weapons into a match of any type is kinda ridiculous. Jim's tennis racket really rode that line between "accessory" and potential weapon, which is why it was genius. HHH found a pair of pliers in a tool box and went to work of Batista's nose. A pair of pliers would conceivably be in a tool box and a tool box might very well be near a wrestling ring.
I personally didn't like the spot because it took me from the "wrestling world" where I was happily escaping the real world, back to the "real world" where "actor" Batista would actually have to worry about his long term cosmetics. I'm picky sure, but I dont want to waste time with b.s. when I decide to attempt to "escape".
CACTUS JACK VS STING WCW BANGBANG!!!!!
A good vid to watch is "Beyond The Mat". Very good behind the scenes segments with Jake The Snake, Mick Foley's dad with Mick and his young family, Chris Adams and many famous and not-so-famous wrestlers. I highly recommend it.
Damn Jim.. Could've done without the description of Mick's tooth and it's journey through the nasal canal..
Wrestling history😁 kidding!
That tooth is going to be next on "WWE Most Wanted Treasures"
Just be glad Mick didn't swallow the tooth. You wouldn't want Jim describing that journey, esp. the destination.
@@testodude Oh, WWE is bringing Foley back for a backstage skit about that. They'll show him on the toilet, hear him taking a dump, with all the fart sound effects, and have him say how he found his tooth. Vince approved it and is personally producing it, since he thinks it's hilarious and will definitely get huge ratings.
I wasn't really looking forward to this because his career has been pretty well documented already, with a long doc on the Network. Instead, it probably wound up being my favorite episode.
It's because he's such a great guy with an amazing story.
Couldn't agree more about the thumb tacks. Totally ridiculous and unnecessary. It reminded me of a Ric Flair quote from earlier in the program: "That's not wrestling."
Bruce did give Jim credit on his podcast when they talked about talking Vince into Mick Foley coming to wwe. They probably won’t give him credit on these because of the wwe affiliation lol
Was that really Kevin James as one of the talking heads for one part or was it somebody else named Kevin James that looked like him also
The real Kevin
They were on the high school wrestling team together
That is the Kevin James.Yes.
Yes. He's lost a fair amount of weight. They were high school teammates as someone above me mentioned.
Rats are the coolest pets. I had two pet rats when I lived in Los Angeles and they were badass.
Maaaaan, I vividly remember watching that PPV when The Rock just destroyed Mick with the chair shots.
Rocky almost killed Mick that night.
They completely left out that he headlined WrestleMania just a month after his retirement hell in a cell with triple H. Mick has always been ashamed of his performance in WrestleMania 2000 so I wonder if it was at his request that it was left out
literally nobody gives a shit about wrestlemaina 2000 every match on that card was some kind of group garbage clusterfuck
The street fight with Triple H at Royal Rumble was awesome. Underrated great match.
Because Foley himselfg has mocked it himself for the fact he only took 6 weeks to come out of retirement.
Mick Foley is one of those rare wrestlers who inspires from respect from almost everyone.

The only things I wish they'd have gotten into a little more are 1) Mick as an author and (2) how much Mick does for various charitable groups. Foley truly is a great man and not just a great wrestler.
@@chrisortiz8072 Conrad married Flairs daughter and by God has he milked that connection for all it’s worth.
Yes, another man dropped Foley onto his opponent-but that was part of a series of run-ins that all started *after* Foley had pretty much finishing winning the match on his own. Had nobody interfered the result seems like it would still have been the same. So you don’t need to find reasons to justify Stone Cold’s role in it.
One of the biggest pops I've ever seen, the appearance of MR.. SOCKO !!💯🤣🤣🤣🤣
So far Shawn Michaels bio was the best. hopefully Bret Hart's will be good next week. I'm sure it will. It's the last one of this series. I hope they get another season.
Bret and booker t were the best ones imo.
Mick Foley is the wrestler who most, for my lifetime, felt both extremely fucking dangerous and extremely fucking sympathetic at the same time. He was my favorite wrestler in WWF. You felt like he could really hurt somebody and when he was getting his ass kicked, you wanted to run in and help him. When he had his world title feud with HHH and he promised to bring back Cactus Jack, it felt like he promised to launch a nuke.
This was the best one so far
This artwork is too much. Kudos, Heckle.
Mick was my favorite growing up. Dude love was my hero.
There's a famous picture of Brian Hildebrandt holding the WCW heavyweight championship title and on the left of him is Eddie Guerrero and on the right is if I'm not wrong Chris Jericho Eddie famous Latino world order shirt
I was at that September 22 Raw at the Garden. Same night Austin stunned Vince for the first time. Video footage does not do justice to both those moments. The crowd exploded when Cactus showed up on screen.
But holy shit the Austin stunner. That entire segment as Vince was speaking the audience had this silence about it. Like we knew and we were waiting. Each word Vince said just increased the thickness of the air. When Austin said "Hell you can kiss my ass" that shriek you hear in that moment erupted in multiple areas of the arena. I saw people jump in the air, run down stairs screaming. Sorry to rant here but it is a moment i will never ever forget. During the break at concession they replayed it and the halls were still erupting.
Mick is just such a legend
I get the feeling that Brian last wants to be a talking head on these biographies
Because he wants to be famous and have people talk about him and he is now and always will be a nobody. It's not like he's some "respected voice" in wrestling. Ditto for Hillbilly Hick Conrad who needs people to fund his failing mortgage "business".
I think the A&E shows have been better than Dark Side Of The Ring so far this year
Honestly, hearing Brian go off toward the end had me in stitches.
Count me as one of those people who does like Mick personally. Became a fan through Mankind and then Dude Love. By reading his books I discovered Cactus Jack. But seeing Mick as Santa, made me believe again. They don't make wrestlers like Mike anymore. 🧡
I'm surprised that Foley actually worked with Andre the Giant.
Also,
Randy Orton vs Cactus Jack, Backlash '04 is what made Orton a 🌟. I give Mick Foley full credit for that. He put Orton over immensely.
Mick did the same thing for Triple H four years earlier
This is correct
@@smokingthereefer92 this is also correct
@@smokingthereefer92 And Orton and HHH both forgot it two years later, apparently.
He also worked with the British Bulldogs. Dynamite Kid broke his jaw with a forearm clothesline and he couldn’t eat solid food for 3 weeks!! After the match he thanked the Bulldogs. Nicest bloke in wrestling. In fact the nicest bloke in life. Or one of them.
I liked the Mick biography a lot. Booker's was excellent. I loathe the Ultimate Warrior but it was interesting and I disagree that it was a full on white wash. HBK's was solid and I do believe he's a changed man. Piper's is probably my second favorite after Booker. I don't think Savage's was a complete hit piece but it is easy to pile on a dead guy who can't defend himself especially with regards to the Gorgeous George stuff. I'm a Austin fan but his was boring. When you compare his life to the other subjects it's pretty boring. Also they completely omitted his domestic violence issues. I'm really looking forward to Bret's.
