Don't be confused. LED is a backlighting, a general features to all monitors, successor to fluorescent backlighting. In this video, It seems that you are comparing IPS and VA monitor's panel.
@@Z_3D No one said anything about a History lesson but what Real Sound Karaoke stated is correct. LCDs us LED for backlighting. OLED monitors have no backlight.

I have a Samsung LF22T monitor and it says it's an "IPS LED" monitor, that confuses me. While you're saying that IPS is an LCD and the manufacturer of my monitor claims that it's an IPS *LED* monitor, I don't really know whether my monitor's actually an LCD or an LED monitor.
late response but LCD/LED are background lighting. VA/IPS/TN/OLED are all panel types. If u ask what is better in lighting it's LED its not even close. panel types have pros and cons so there is no 100 percent answer to which is better. TN panels are dead though nobody uses them anymore due to having very bad colors.
@@davailama1808sorry to bother but since you understand monitors im buying a new monitor soon and im wondering between 2 monitors both 24 inches and 165hz but one is a VA panel and one is a LED, which is better overall especially peformance?
It mainly depends on what you like, if you like high contrast in videos and movies then you should get a LED VA monitor but if you edit and design a lot then you should get a IPS monitor, to be covered you should get 2 monitors, one LED VA and another IPS.
What the fudge is a light emitting dodie You mean diode. Switched off here as it became clear you were reading a script and didn’t have proper knowledge
IPS vs LED is same as Jeans vs Hawaii shirts. It does not make sense. Either comare IPS with MVA or TN (panel tech) or compare CCFL vs WLED vs GBr LED (backligth tech)
had high hopes for this vid but when the lovely young lady said light emitting dody, well.....er i think its pronounced diode🙂ill continue now hoping no more gaffs like that.
LED = Light Emitting Doo-dee? Really??? I was taught, Light Emitting DIODE. (Ronnie James Dio is pretty good also! RIP) Or maybe it's because of her tongue stud. @1:00
Could you please tell me between these two which one is better for video and photo editing? “LG 27GP850-B 144hz 1ms wqhd lcd ips panel” vs “LG 32UN88A 80 cm 32 Inch UHD 4K IPS Monitor 5ms 60hz”.
In the photography world it's combining multiple photos. High dynamic range. Say 3 photos taken. One normal exposure, one under exposed, and one over exposed then combining them into one image. It gets the most detail in dark and bright areas whereas a normal exposure might miss details in the sky for example because it's too bright compared to the rest of the picture
Let me save your time. IPS is superior Period.
... to your bill.
Thank you
Gracias
Yeah in every way except for power consumption pretty much
Did she really call a diode (die-ode) a dough-dee?🤣
i love the fact that this video is short and detailed! great job! i love it
Light emitting "doidi". Noise
😂😂😂😂

She even called diode “a dode”.
You're the only one confused mate. The vid was comparing not giving the history of monitors overall.
@@FinalBoss429 I heard dode instead diode : )

The production quality and actual helpfulness of your video is criminally underrated! Yall deserve more views.

Much appreciated!
I was looking for comparisons on RUclips and did'nt get was I was looking for but you just gave me the info I was looking for .Thanks for information
Thank you for keeping this video brief and informative !
The production level of your videos are top notch!
Glad you like them! Thank you very much
0:57 "Light Emitting Dodie"?
This is what brought me to the comments 😂😂
Does that mean that the led monitor is better than the va and tn?
i stop watching when i here doidi omg i thought she knows what she says so its all about the fc script hehe

Diode is pronounced as [ˈdīˌōd]. 😅🤣😂

does ips makes a huge difference when it comes to power comsumption compared to led, just concern abt our bills lol

Can anyone tell me the title of tracks used in the video. Please😢
Lost me at the pronunciation of diode 😂
For 4k videos. Movies and games . Which is preferred
I don't know much about monitors, but you're definitely good at explaining things plus you're easy to understand. I like the accent btw.
I appreciate that! Glad I could help!😊
Which one is better
Should electronic product recommendations by someone who doesn't recognize the word diode be taken seriously?
Yes! Even a non-English speaker knew she pronounced it wrongly!
if i wanted to game and also do alittle editing and design on photoshop, would u recommend ips or led?
But which is better for everyday use (gaming, editing, designing, movies and youtube, etc.)?

My Asus is a LED monitor with IPS. You can have it all.
So IPS monitor brightens the screen like If I play DayZ I can see at Night better with out NVG

IPS is also LED monitor 😵💫🤦
Thanks for clearing that up. My Asus Viva Book 15 laptop has IPS display
