- Got a large lawn to mow, or maybe it’s a lawn with thick blades of grass? If so, this RYOBI 36V 46cm HP™️Brushless Lawn Mower will make mowing a breeze. The kit includes the mower, a 36V 6.0Ah battery and 6Ah charger.
The mower can run off 1 or 2 batteries using the latest load-sensing technology to deliver extra power when you need it … and conserves the battery for longer runtimes when you don’t. The mower has SMART BOOST™️, which draws on the extra power of the second battery to tackle the longer, thicker grass. And you get extended runtimes from using both batteries. But it will run on just one battery and still give you a great-looking lawn.
It has an LED Dashboard lets you choose between 3 cutting modes, alerts you if the catcher or mulch plug haven’t been fitted properly or it’s time for a blade change. It also has a 10-step height adjustment built into the carry handle. And the EASY CATCH™️ design let users reach straight through the handles to empty the catcher. Great lawn mower!
Love the design and technology.
Brought this after my 18v Ryobi wasn't gutsy enough to cut a large patch of thick Buffalo Grass.
A couple of hundred bucks more than I wanted to spend, but I'm glad I spent the extra.
A lot bigger, heavier & gruntier & noiser than the 18V, but cuts the Buffalo grass with ease.
(It's still bloody quiet compared to a petrol mower, & there is no need for earplugs.)
I love the "Smart" mode - it works really well & was worth the extra for this feature alone.
I haven't needed a 2nd 36V battery for that extra "boost", but it nice to know I've got that option if I need it.
To summarise - yeah, its not cheap, but it is a bloody good mower & I'm really pleased with it.
The first one was returned with an intermittent high load warning after the first use just mowing the footpath, easy job, clean short buffalo. I returned it to Bunnings and they exchanged it for a new one.
I brought the new one home, assembled it and charged the battery as directed. Put the brand new charged battery from the brand new charger into the brand new mower and tried it in my garage. Guess what? High Load warning and it wouldn’t work at all. I hasn’t been used at all!!!
What next? I don’t want to keep driving backwards and forwards to Bunnings and assembling mowers for the foreseeable until I luck on one that works!!!
I have just bought the 6amp mower and am wondering if the battery can be used in a whipper snipper?
Thanks
I have gone to Bunnings to pickup this mower but it is still not in stock - when will Ryobi start moving this product to Bunnings ?
I bought one this morning at bunnings castle hill $799 look awesome but have not tried it yet also I bought a new battery for $300
@@peace-lm8nl that is the 26 model which is self propelled, this video is for the 16 which is not
FYI, I contacted Ryobi who advised that I could order it via the special orders desk which I successfully did yesterday, Ryobi said about a week or two and it should arrive for me. No mention of when they will actually be ranged in store
@@MrAussiemark96 i think they are in bunnings now
@@peace-lm8nl can you do a review?
Aren't these meant to be quiet? Why'd he have earplugs in at the beginning?
I have one - Its way quieter than a petrol mower & there is no need for earplugs.
He had to wear ear plugs for procection against his strong manly voice.
