Good to see your finding silver. I've almost forgotten what they look like. Had a sickening string of skunk boxes.
Good finds Dave, throughout last week I went through 5 boxes of quarters, found a couple Harpers Ferry DDR's a Wyoming DDR, 4 - 5 W's at least one was an AMP, they're as rare as frog hair around here and to my surprise, a quarter planchette in a box of circulated quarters, I've found a number of cent planchettes but never a quarter.
I found a 1943 Double Die Obverse at a local laundry mat in the change machine. All the quarters were taken from the washing machines. According to the 2023 coin book the value of this very very rare quarter is....$2,750.00. Best find of my coins. So rare there is no listing of mintage strikes. Not bad huh?
Could you tell me what microscope you use? I've seen a few online but not sure which ones work well.
