@@cg6548no bro, respectfully disagree. I think it just depends on what you value in a player, and also what Real Madrid ask of him. One of the most accurate passers in the game, which is key in keeping possession, building the attack up, and overall distribution. He’s also a decent defender, he’s old so not as good now but still more than respectable. He also has great football IQ, Greta decision maker. And one attribute that isn’t tangible is his leadership and winning attitude. Regardless of what you think of him as a player he is literally one of the most decorated players today. A bunch of champions league and a World Cup where he was EXCELLENT. One of his best qualities is he doesn’t make many mistakes, and that is a valuable quality most people don’t acknowledge.
He’s one of the most well rounded midfielders of all time he can defend pretty well, he can dribble under pressure even take on a man, he’s got enough stamina to last a game, he is the best deep lying playmaker of all time (behind only pirlo) he is also very creative in the final third with his passing, crossing, set pieces, long shots, iq, weak foot, in general shooting is pretty good and he controls games what more could u want easily the most underrated midfielder for me when u think about his longevity as well honestly he’s up there if not better than pirlo, Xavi, iniesta, Zidane, Paul Scholes etc there is a reason he has a World Cup, 5 champions leagues and plenty of German and Spain is titles

Croos is the perfect Central midfielder dear fellows. Such confidence in both offense and defense. Yes his not the quickest player. . . But his positioning and awareness are simply simply sublime. And those long passes are such a pleasure to watch. Graceful technique and a thunderbolt of long range snipes. These combinations make him a mid field great.
And oh pls,,,,, he is certainly so so so underrated and overlooked... His contributions to games are always overlooked when you have the likes of cr7, Ozil, and now vini .... Again the longevity of this man. Playing so long in real Madrid is not a simple feat.
Tony is the player that no matter how many times you watch him still he shows you the same display like on the playstation.

I used to say Camavinga and Tchouameni have lost their effectiveness like they used to be for their former clubs, now that they have joined RMCF. They are becoming like Jadon Sancho after he left Dortmund for MUFC. But now I realize their usefulness. Ever since the two of them arrived, Kroos and Modric have had to quickly step up their game again so they don't lose their spark. Otherwise the regular Kroos and Modric from 2021 would not have won this last Champions League. You can also see how this many midfielders in the squad has caused us to move Valverde out wide and then discover his beast mode. The point is: Kroos and Modric are better off staying here until it's time to retire in the MLS. Or at least until Camavinga and Tchouameni learn how to always keep fighting for that white shirt.
Give them time the will be the best midfielder after kroos and modric retire 👍. I hope they get the chance to play in copa del Rey.
Still need a CDM when Tchouameni gets injured though. Thought we were set and then Casemiro left lol. Camavinga in the future and/or Valverde can succeed Modric but we need a successor to Kroos in terms of role

U don’t need a carbon copy of the Madrid midfield in the future, u just need another world class midfield that are balanced and good in their own way, doesn’t have to be the exact same as case modric kroos.

He is the perfect midfielder, playing simple but effective football, always giving the perfect passes and moving just enough and necessary, not to mention his shots. the freekick vs Switzerland in the 2018 World Cup, justflawless, for me the best midfielder in history. Toni beside Modric in the midfield and Marcelo as a left-back gave to RM and CR7 the best years in their football careers.
