We have something neat called sanitation, medical professionals, and quarantine facilities. We'll be just fine, perks of the first world.

I've read a book on Ebola, "The Hot Zone", There are ways it can be prevented and controlled here.There are quarantine facilities and bio hazard protocols that doctors have, Saying we're gonna die is just sensationalism of the disease because there are prevention methods, I'll trust our doctors on this one.

As a Texan and a medical student I found this kinda funny, I guess I can take a joke and Its exactly what I expected. However, people would be surprised to know that as a "state" Texas probably leads the nation in overall medical research and teaching hospitals only second to the northeast/east coast, as a whole "region". UT Southwestern is in Dallas, so I think its a pretty good place for something like this to pop up.Seriously, no where supports/funds medical education like Texas, that's for sure. One of the few Ebola research labs in the country is in TEXAS at a max security level four research lab at UTMB.

Lol. When Conan took his show to Dallas for a week there were no shortages of jokes about stereotyping. I live in Dallas and even though none of this is true on a day-to-day basis, there are people who embrace that stereotype, just because it's fun and there's no other state like Texas. There are horse carriages in downtown though, those are hella fun.
