Got myself a nail in the rear tire on my 1 week old Honda. Glad that I have tire insurance from the dealer and they will replace the tire free of charge.
I have trouble to get used to changing gears up smoothly. Unfortunately got no quick shifter on mine.

Do not worry about that, you will get used to shifting after a couple of weeks and then you’ll ride smoothly like everyone else.
      Cheers

Hi, I'm from the UK and starting the process of getting my licence soon. I love the look of these bikes and was unsure if a 650 is a smart move for a beginner. However, during the lessons and tests here, I'll be put on a bike of a minimum of 600cc..so I figured I'd get used to that. Plus what you say in your video has helped ease my mind. I would definitely love a cb650r.

It really can be a starter bike! I was really afraid it would be too much also. But honestly after 2 hours of riding I felt right at home on the bike. Just keep it below 7000RPM please. But you will see how quickly you will get used to it! I basically had no other choice because of the size of the bikes. At 194cm I would look and feel silly on a small 400cc.

@MotoMacek I feel like I'd regret getting a 400cc also like you said.

Hi, I love your videos. I'm somewhat of a beginner rider myself as I've only been riding a 1994 moped 110cc for a few months now to practice slow speed maneuvers and turns. Honestly, I've been contemplating to get the CB650R for months end now, and your videos are helping me understand better from the beginner's POV.
Unfortunately, in Malaysia, the 2023 model would only be arrive by the end of this month or July; 2024 model would only be available early next year in 2025 :(
I'm thinking of just committing to get the 2023 model at this point. What are your thoughts?

I passed my driving licence on the 2023 model and basically the only real difference is the TFT display.. exactly the same bike almost. You cannot go wrong with either bike! And thank you ! :)

My friend how do you find the riding position?
Do you feel any discomfort on longer rides?
I would really like to buy a 2024 CB660R with the E clutch now, but unfortunately Honda didn't bring the 2024 model into Canada, so I have to wait until the end of the year for a 2025 model.
