Thanks to your video I found an easier way to set up this, after watching your video I realized that although the end result is the same, your approach is way less complicated compared to what I was doing,👍
Great video Lee, This shows how easy it is to setup, after a bit of experimentation I've managed to get my mk1 crossfire module working on the x18 using an adapter loom from AliExpress and the ppm setting, using pwm 6ch crossfire rx's on slope soarers 👍
Hello, thanks for answering my questions. I bought a TD R10 receiver for my X20S. What power should I use for the 900MHz? The default 10mw? Or the max 500mw? It's for a glow rc airplane, not for fpv or drone. And i'm not using external antennas on the X20S.
Question.... Let's say I purchase an X18se Transmitter in Dec of this year 2023. Would I have to necessarily update it, or can I use it out of box as normal without issue. I am not one for updating and etc, just want something that works. Been having issues with Futaba, and wanting to possibly try something else.....
There is a new function in the latest version of ETHOS (1.4.2) that allows the travel to be modified to be less in one direction. It is called Differential. You can also use Curves to finely define the movement and limits of a channel too. I may make a quick video on this for you. Best of luck
@@Painless360 nice! can you do a quick video explaining how do properly do a throttle cut on glow airplanes? I can’t find anywhere. Like, I can mix a switch to reduce the trim to cut the engine, but if I change the trim, the amount of the switch changes too according to the trim. I need a mix that cut the servo throttle the exact same amount independently of the throttle trim (to not force the throttle servo), because every time that I will fly my plane, I will change the idle on my glow engine. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say

The engine is cutted 100% when the throttle is 100% down and the trim is 100% down too. I need a mix that when I press a switch, it puts the servo on this state: 100% throttle down and 100% trim down, besides what trim I'm using or what % of throttle I'm using. I think its a simple mix, but I don't know how to do it
Hi painless, I need some advice or help, after attempting to solder two flight controllers I’ve came to realise my soldering isn’t up to par , I can’t really stretch to pixhawk or anything due to funds I dare not try again as it’s getting expensive is there anyone that does a soldering service or anything like that was just the sparrow v3 I was trying to do , I’ve racked my brains trying to find Somone that could maybe do it till I get my soldering better any ideas be greatly appreciated 🙏

It depends on how far you fly and the local conditions. I'd use a little more than 10mW for a test. Best of luck

It should work fine but stock can sit on shelves for months so arrive with old firmware. Updating is easy, I'd strongly suggest you update.
Hi , Great video but in 1.4.2 firmware version they removed the setting for dual rate . Can anybody knows how i can set dual rates in 1.4.2???thanks
Any updates from them for Crossfire support? I want to get one of these radio's really bad but have been holding off until they do.
Still on the roadmap for release soon from what I've heard. CRSF for both ELRS and Crossfire would be nice!
how can I add more rate in one side than the other? like I have one servo for both ailerons, but I want to add more rate in one side than the other

Why is this put in the Mixer? Why not the Inputs?

Some resellers will solder the pins on if you ask nicely. The other option is to find a local electronics expert who will help you... Best of luck
