Just been watching Laura Claycomb (whom I only recently 'discovered') videos for over two hours on RUclips and may as well spend another two before I decide it's time to go to bed.
Thanks so much for putting this up here! Didn't know there was a recording! Not usually my repertoire, but I love the aria. I'd have thought it'd have been from my concert in Dallas on that same recital tour, though... My Dad loves anything Puccini.. ;-)
This interpretation is beautiful. The dimuendo at the end is especially expressive of this character. Ms. Claycomb is such a sincere singer who sings out from the heart- just watch and listen to her Lucia.
