This was supposed to be a "Damn Leo's crazy" video and it ended up being "philosophical discussions with Riddles"

Tweek, Gluto, Sonix, Sparg0, Riddles, Zomba, Acola, Kameme, Shinymark...Those are some of the people he's lost to in the last few months, and he's faced most of them only once or twice this year.

Leo is the only player aside from Armada in where if he’s playing his best he looks unstoppable.
Im still amazed at the Ludwig Invitational he went like 33-1 game count. Like it looked like every other player didnt know how to play the game
Yeah, this is the bes comparison. Armada was almost flawless in Melee and Leo was in ultimate
@@Yokai_Yurimight sound weird but i think armada was much more “flawless” than leo. i know leo only got top 2 for years, but armada never went through a big slump like leo.
@@mrb-btw To be fair, Leo's "big slump" is him mostly not grinding as hard as he used to. For a while he was barely even playing.
Armada wouldve had the same issue had he kept playing, but he quit while he was ahead and retired because its a ton of work to stay #1.
Same happens to every great. When you're at #1 for SO long, you tend to lose your drive to keep up the pace. Leo has been #1 for like 5 years, ever since the end of smash 4. Its hard to keep the same motivation to practice as hard as you used to, especially when you've been uncontested for so long.
But, once you lose that #1 spot, it can sometimes reignite the fire, so if Leo sets his mind on the grind again, I can easily see him getting #1 again. I still think he has the most potential of any player, it really just depends on how much motivation and work he actually puts into being #1.

Leo may win or lose, but to this day he's the only Ultimate player I've seen that, when playing at his peak, looks like he cannot lose. As if he was x2 or x3 times better in terms of reflexes and spacing than everybody else.
I would love to see riddles reading more tiktok or yt comments as a video, the way it was edited was hella funny

I definitely get what Riddles is saying about internet culture. Some people just need to be held accountable for what they say somehow to make them act decently towards other people, but there's not really a way to do that, so we get mindless twitch chat. You are mistaken. Armada was the best Melee had to offer, he almost had a flawless record while he eas competing. As for Zero, he was lucky there was no real threars or competence and he inmediately retired the moment things were getting tough. Leo's record in ultimate was like Armada, inmaculate, and even when things were getting tough, he still was number 1.
@@Yokai_Yuri no mango is easily the greatest melee player of all time all the five gods said so and as for zero he had plenty of competition he was just to good mkleo tweek nairo tsu tea Larry lurr esam marss void were all godlike at smash 4 just to name a few and ya they were getting better but zero retired because he was sick of being hated for how good he was luckily mkleo doesn't have to deal with being hated for his skill the community has come a long way towards appreciating top 5 players
