Ive not made a Madras for ages so this is good inspiration!
Have brought the Chennai & supreme masalas as recommended but not used them yet.
The aroma is amazing!
Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Thanks Kev, sure it'll turn out as I've recommended in the vid. Happy cooking
Looks so good, made me hungry now but I'm off to bed.😆
Hey Steve. Just found some diced beef in the freezer, spices arrived the other day, found 2 tins of gas for the camping stove, suns out, plain 1121 basmati rice. Sorted. Thanks mate.
Sounds like a good plan
I once had a prawn Madras that had poppy seeds in it, along with tomatoes and fresh coriander. It was delicious but I've never found anyone else cook a curry that way since. Have you ever come across such a recipe?
Yes, poppy seeds and their paste are a popular feature in the curries of the north east of India. It sounds like the restaurant you had that had good creativity to include that in a Madras
I’ve got this on the go now Steve. Looks and smells great. You didn’t mention the coriander in the video. I assume it’s added at the end to serve ? Cheers
Yes, just a tiny amount for garnish Stephen
I thought so. Although tiny amounts are for photos. Then pile it on thick! 😄
