Easily the coolest reface of a ride I’ve ever seen. The videos don’t do it justice, when you actually ride, it looks like the guardians are RIGHT THERE.
So true! I do miss Tower of terror being my first ride when I was six years old and being absolutely terrified and never wanting to go on a Disneyland ride again but I love the graphics on this one. When I went last week I rode it about 10 times!
I came into the ride without knowing what it actually was. When we got seated I still didn’t think much of it until I heard the screams of other people in the other rooms. All I could do was scream when it began dropping us. Anyways this ride is a 11/10.
Prob the best way to go so you get all more of a thrill :) My mom did the same, she was terrified bc she didn't know what she got onto but ended up loving it!
I took my little daughter on this ride not knowing at the end that would happen . 🤦🏻♀️ let’s just say she was scared to ride other rides after she rode that one . 😂

Same! Went on it 3 times in one day, that night at the hotel felt the drop feeling trying to sleep several times. Similar to how you can still feel the waves after being on a boat.
Same I was screaming so bad. But after the ride was over I felt soooo sick and I don’t get motion sick. We went home early from California adventure….I didn’t end up throwing up though so that’s a plus
I LOVE this ride! I personally think that “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” is the best song choice for it. Going up and down, jamming out to tunes, and helping Rocket break out the other Guardians is just too awesome!
A part of me hopes they'll eventually expand the song list a bit and include a few others from the soundtrack, especially "Go All the Way" by the Raspberries, or maybe "Surrender" from Cheap Trick.

i know a lot of people were mad about this being changed from tower of terror, but i honestly loved it! the music was so hype and it was the exact same fun with a facelift :)
I never rode tower of terror, but I probably wouldn't have anyway because it was just plain creepy. I'd ride this constantly if I could. This reface took away the stuff of nightmares and made it fun.
Such a wild ride. We rode with a tiny terrified kid behind us once who ran off the ride screaming and then ran to try and get back in line to ride again. lol
Went in blind and have to say its one of the best rides disney offers. Honestly, I wouldnt even say its a ride but more of an experience. If you love gaurdians of the galaxy this ride will have you running right back in line after you did it. Its that good 😎

This ride was amazing. Easily my favorite ride in Avengers Campus and maybe even in the whole park. The drops and rises in the ride were so smooth and the brakes weren’t abrupt and were also very smooth. It also has a great thrill factor because it’s so so unpredictable unlike most drop tower rides and it was so fun. I went completely airborne out of my seat each time the lift dropped. The cinematics on ride were also amazing. This was a solid replacement to Tower of Terror and a must do ride in Disneyland.
I rode this 11 days ago on my birthday for the first time. I had no idea what kind of ride it was AT ALL. I am surprised I didn't have a heart attack and die lol! I have never been so scared in my life! 😂
The beginning outside shot gave me goosebumps. I love the song that played (My Sweet Lord by George Harrison) and I love the ride. Best combination imo
They must rotate the music. I just rode this yesterday to “We Want the Funk” and I’ve had it stuck in my head all day. Hats off to you who can ride something like this and record at the same time!
For those looking at comments to make your decision about going on. Just do it! I am terrified of heights and roller coasters but this ride is so much fun. Just go in with out thinking about it, experience it yourself and don’t get scared by others experiences. You will be glad you did it!

No it’s DEFINITELY not a solid change because it’s not California themed. Welcome to Disney’s CALIFORNIA Adventure. Disney has been so greedy that they never even noticed that almost every change they’re making to the park doesn’t fit the park’s theme and they all feel like they belong in the Disneyland park and not the California adventure park. And I don’t know why, but the only 2 non-California themed changes I approve of are the Sun Wheel turning into Mickey’s Fun Wheel and the Orange Stinger turning into the Silly Symphony Swings. But everything else…just SERIOUSLY annoying for the park’s original theme
I love this ride so much. I hate when my stomach drops on rollercoasters. But I absolutely love Guardians and the Incredicoaster because you barely feel it. :)
Family and I went earlier this month, and this was the ride we got on the most. Got "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," "Born to be Wild" twice, and "Burning Love" (the one in the video) as our last song. Was hoping for "Free Ride," but each of the 6 elevators play a different song and scenario. But this was definitely one of, if not our top ride from the trip. We always came back to this ride whenever we were bored, that's how much fun it was. And my mom, who knows next to nothing about the Marvel movies, wanted to watch GotG when we got home.
i would have been mad as hell waiting in line for that, they should have left it as the tower of terror.. the storyline made more sense with the ride, an elevator dropping make MUCH MOsmhRE SENSE than "saving the crew of "G.of the G"... This was a case of - "if it's not broke- dont fix it"

I absolutely love WDW's Tower of Terror, and believe it should never be changed. I positively cringed when I heard they were doing a Guardians makeover to the California version of the ride. Well, they knocked this one out of the park! They did a great, FUN job on this ride!

It exceeded my expectations, I also love these types of rides, and when you get to the top it makes you so shaky, I also think the line into the place is very cool. 10/10. However I do recommend the the big roller coster at Pixar pier (I forgot the name) it’s very fun and worth the wait. That one is about 11/10 but it’s mine own experiences
I love how on the tower of terror rides/mission breakout you fly up and unless you have ur seatbelt really tight you go upwards and out of ur chair, being restrained by a seatbelt, it feels like ur flying through whole time, plus even just going up is scary becuase 90% of the times it’s dark
I rode on this only once. I nearly passed out of the first launch from all of the g forces. I was holding the poor chaperones leg for the first part of it!
For anyone anxious to go on this ride I sincerely suggest it! The lineup really builds up the nerves but you won’t regret it! It’s such a rush which makes it so fun
I hope they install this at DisneyWorld. I love in Tower of Terror where your seat rolled thru a corridor before going into the next elevator shaft. That would play so well with the Guardians treatment!
I love Rollercoasters, but have never genuinely screamed in fear.. until i went onto this ride and was screaming for dear life! I am terrified of heights so it makes sense. But it genuinely felt like i was falling to my death in an elevator several times. 100/10 i recommended the experience
i went to DCA and DisneyLand recently and it was my first time going to both parks and i heard that guardians of the galaxy ride was a must do if you go because it’s super fun, so i went on not knowing that’s it dropped and went up and down many times but on the drop when it takes you to the very top to see LA/Disney was the best drop‼️. My butt flew out of the seat which made it seem like i would fall off but overall 12/10
Fun fact: If you are on this ride and you don’t see The Rocket animatronic, your getting the B Plan, which is a video of Rocket because the animatronic is not working. You’ll know weather or not you’ll be getting the B Plan if the Walkman is missing, The animatronic is down and you’ll get the video.
My orchestra teacher announced that we’re having a trip to Disney California Adventure next month because we’re performing and having some fun. I was excited to go next month because I get to ride the Incredicoaster and the Guardians of the Galaxy ride.

I love how on the tower of terror rides/mission breakout you fly up and unless you have ur seatbelt really tight you go upwards and out of ur chair, being restrained by a seatbelt, it feels like ur flying through whole time, plus even just going up is scary becuase 90% of the times it’s dark

i hate drops so much, this ride gives me anxiety, but i would ride it just to go back to Disney again :(
Some good advice for drops is to just relax, scream, and keep your arms up. I’m scared of roller coasters too and it works for me!!
I got scared af when i rode this OML- I lost my heart 😔🤚 but it was fun

The most fond memory of my visit to Orlando. This is by far my second favorite ride of all the parks, apart from Star Tours.
I can still feel the vibrations, rises, and falls in this ride.

I absolutely loved this ride
I rode on this only once. I nearly passed out of the first launch from all of the g forces. I was holding the poor chaperones leg for the first part of it!
this was my fav ride a disney california because the drop and im like 11
For anyone anxious to go on this ride I sincerely suggest it! The lineup really builds up the nerves but you won’t regret it! It’s such a rush which makes it so fun

I hope they install this at DisneyWorld. I love in Tower of Terror where your seat rolled thru a corridor before going into the next elevator shaft. That would play so well with the Guardians treatment!
The problem with that is that the Tower of Terror would forever be gone in America

I love Rollercoasters, but have never genuinely screamed in fear.. until i went onto this ride and was screaming for dear life! I am terrified of heights so it makes sense. But it genuinely felt like i was falling to my death in an elevator several times.

i went to DCA and DisneyLand recently and it was my first time going to both parks and i heard that guardians of the galaxy ride was a must do if you go because it’s super fun, so i went on not knowing that’s it dropped and went up and down many times but on the drop when it takes you to the very top to see LA/Disney was the best drop‼️. My butt flew out of the seat which made it seem like i would fall off but overall 12/10

I still miss tower of terror immensely but I have to admit this re-skin/re-brand was done extremely well

I rode this last week, and it was intense
I remember the time I was there it was so scary and I almost jumped of my seat
Fun fact: If you are on this ride and you don’t see The Rocket animatronic, your getting the B Plan, which is a video of Rocket because the animatronic is not working. You’ll know weather or not you’ll be getting the B Plan if the Walkman is missing, The animatronic is down and you’ll get the video.
Imagine this, your riding the Hollywood tower of terror you get on the ride and then it starts but then.. 7:36

My orchestra teacher announced that we’re having a trip to Disney California Adventure next month because we’re performing and having some fun. I was excited to go next month because I get to ride the Incredicoaster and the Guardians of the Galaxy ride.
