The funnest part for me is when there’s absolute silence and then you go from 0 to 60 backwards. I will NEVER get sick of this ride.
Me too!
Yes!! We got back from Disney a month ago (went last summer and rode it for the first time) and my father this time around was like “I forgot it started backwards!” Lol. I love this ride. Ugh I miss Disney…lol.
It's even better when there's a delay as the ride waits for the later track sections to clear. The ride holds with the singularity and is silent as it waits........................................ BAM! You're shot backwards without warning. It's the perfect application of antici
pation.
Did this ride yesterday. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE it is the perfect combo of space mountain and rocknroller coaster. It is the smoothest coaster I’ve ever been on and tho it’s hard to tell from the vids the cars DO TURN/SPIN! I was fortunate enough to have front row and this song playing and between the lights, music, and commentary it is an absolute masterpiece of a ride. It has definitely hit the equivalent of hagrids at islands of adventure for me at this point. Please go into this ride with optimism, it will not disappoint!
Can you imagine Disneyland making a temporary overlay of Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind in Space Mountain?
how did you get on
@@TwilightLink77 that would be amazing and I’d be flying to cali for opening day
@@363rheshe I was there for the first day of passholder previews
I haven't been on this or Hagrid's, but I'd give the nudge to Hagrid's because of the drop track on the ride which is a very unusual element on a roller coaster.
I am a 67 yr old grandmother who rode this with grandchildren last July & last Thursday! Undoubtedly the best “euphoric high” of all the 4 parks!
You rock, grandma! 🤘
For anyone who is nervous about this ride because of the G force (the feeling in your stomach) or scared about the spins, DONT BE SCARED AT ALL! The ride is absolutely fun and incredible! For someone who HATES G force, i loved every single second of it. And to comfort you, yes i was extremely scared and nervous, but i promise you that once you realize its not bad at all you’ll feel completely fine and excited, so dont stress in line and appreciate the little movie they play or the waiting room. Definitely ask the workers if you can get front row seats, the workers let me.Yes there is some g force but its not that bad and there is what feels like a very tiny drop but its not bad at all. Definitely try it out, its a ride that you cant miss!
Is it like the yeti ride in animal kingdom? Bc I didn’t like that ride at all
You are absolutely right! I was scared went I first went on, but once the adrenaline hit i was literally signing “Disco Inferno” and dancing in my harness as the ride went on. If line wasn’t so long I would 100% have done it again to hear the other songs.
This is the comment I was looking for 🥲 I have a fear of speed and heights (not the best combo for wanting to ride coasters) but can do stuff like the Universal Harry Potter Gringotts rides. Was wondering if this was more intense!
Is it a spinny ride that makes you dizzy?
@@terencesdurag2823 It’s a g-force indoor roller coaster. It has sharp twists and turns and if you have motion sickness or are sensitive to things as such, I’d sadly say to avoid it. I don’t know if I’d outright call it spinny though.
Best video so far...mostly because it's so bright it shows lots of what we aren't supposed to see ha ha...supports, screens, catwalks, etc. Wonderful for geeks like us.
Lol exactly what I was thinking!!

I wonder if it was a callback to rides like it.
I’d love to see a “lights on” video!
@@JohnDoe-sg1pd That would be AMAZING!
"No one's gonna stop Rock and Roll from existing!". I'm not a fan of coasters and rides like this, but I got the amazing opportunity of doing a preview and this ride is so insanely fun! We got "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" and it made the vibe and aesthetic so magical. The whole ride was incredibly smooth. no clicking, no bumps or jolts when going up/down and starting/stopping. It made it alot easier to focus on the ride and the background and everything. One of the best rides honestly
Lucky, when i finally got on the ride broke down and we had to wait in line again lol, i got September and it was amazing
The song was perfect! I also got “Everybody wants to rule the world 🌎 “ loved the ride one of my favorites now in Epcot !
Same song for us too. Yay! I can’t wait to ride again.
How fast in mph does Disney Epcot guardians cosmic rewind go?
Dont know specifics.. road this today.. thing was incredibly insane.. also ya got everybody wants to rule the world.. vibes so good
oh man, i started grinning like an idiot during that backwards launch. this looks great -- can't wait to ride it!
I started singing along to One Way or Another when it kicked in. I love how this coaster looks so much too

The backward launch was amazing
Its so good!!
Me too - it was amazong
Recently went to Disneyworld for the first time in my life. I was so excited for epcot but had no idea what to expect from this ride. First time I went on it played “Everybody wants to rule the world” and I swear the combination of everything led to a huge serotonin boost. Probably one of the happiest memories in my life. I actually paid for an extra park day at epcot plus lightning lane just to ride this 2 more times. I got 4 different songs but the other 3 just didnt match up to the first time lol
you're extremely lucky you got everybody wants to rule the world. I couldn't even hear my song since I was screaming and focused on the carts rotating
I did it twice, first song everybody wants to rule the world but I can’t remember the 2nd
I couldn’t agree more I just got back from the park tonight and am still in awe. It was an incredible ride beyond words actually. Euphoria comes close to describing the experience. I need to go back to do it again it was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced
That was my first song too! You perfectly explained it! Huge serotonin, dopamine, heck all the endorphins we're flowing. BEST RIDE EVER!
yes yes yes!!! i have listened to that song so many times since i left a couple weeks ago trying to remember what happened on the ride but i just couldn’t remember i was so excited and just looking around i wish i could’ve gone again
The way the Epcot employee tricked my whole family ( mom backed out immediately) into going on this ride lmao! He deserves a raise cuz that was my best experience for my first ever rollercoaster!!
Wait what?
What did they say

I don’t usually comment on RUclips videos but I just went on this ride about 20 minutes ago, and had to come on here to relive it!! It’s SUCH a good ride, tops just about anything I’ve been on so far. It’s a must ride and make sure you do the virtual!
How does it compare to Aerosmith? Revenge of the mummy? Hagrid’s motor bike.. or perhaps Velocicoaster?
@@andresgil722 Space Mountain on steroids and Red Bull lol
@@andresgil722All of those rides are good… but this ride is unbelievable. The music is perfect, the ride is SO SMOOTH. You spin, go backwards, go fast, watch the action scenes, and is overall the best ride I’ve been on. Aerosmith is close, but it’s very jerky and also not a long ride. This is the perfect time span, not too long but not too short. Just an amazing ride and definitely recommend it.

I’m 52 and this ride will live in my heart forever
Went on this ride today my mom closed her eyes so I’m sending her this thank you this was probably my second favorite ride of all time(right behind Star Wars rise of the resistance) something I noticed was it was extremely smooth not a single uncomfortable jolt or anything 10/10 ride
I’ve been on this ride so much times now and it’s a 100% masterpiece and I 100% recommend to ride it. You never know what song you’ll get!
I like how each car has a different song playing, just like Mission Breakout in DCA.

Yes. I was like what the
Went on this three times last week, twice with 'One Way of Another' and once with 'Disco Inferno'. (I'm no disco fan, but that song was a hoot on this ride!) The ride is simply amazing. From the jaw-dropping pre-show to the ride itself, it has to be the top attraction on the planet right now.
I got on it this and the song that played is "Everybody wants to rule the world" from Tears For Fears great song with a great ride
not even close to being the top the top ride in Fl right now is at BGT and IOA
It's definitely is up there in the list in my opinion
Idk granted I’ve only seen the videos but this doesn’t seem to match the quality of story telling and ride systems that the new universal coasters has had. Like Gringrotts seems better and Hagrids magical motorcycle is 100% better. Have you tried any of those?
I didn’t know there was multiple songs that plays?!? that’s awesome. and man how did you get on it 3 times?!?! the wait time for my DAS pass was like 5-7 Hours?!?!
Went on this ride for the first time with 3 of my best friends and everybody wants to rule the world was playing. It was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life and I almost cried when it was over because it was just such a vibe. I’ve been on more exciting rides before but I’ve never found a ride that’s more fun than this one. Immaculate vibes.
Definitely agree. Just experienced it myself with the Tears for Fears classic!
This is coming from someone who has a love/hate relationship with roller coasters, I absolutely LOVED this ride! So much fun!
Such a brilliant ride and the music makes it! We got September by Earth Wind and Fire 🎶

Rode this yesterday with my family, and OMG, IT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!!!! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! I LOVED IT!
Holy shit this is the most creative dark ride I've ever ridden. Both this and Velocicoster show how promising the future of coasters will be. The queue line for this ride, the theming, the visuals, you need to experience this for yourself
Dude I was so incredibly disappointed I couldn’t join the queue again at a later time after going on it once. Making you pay for it is a scam but at least we got to experience it once. It’s such a long ride and the spinning/sideways and screens are just spectacular. So well done

i used to hate thrill rides, but i rode splash mountain this year and thought it was pretty fun. this was the first rollercoaster i rode after that, thinking it would be less intense... i LOVED IT!! the music blasting is fantastic, and the ride was butter smooth too. great first rollercoaster hahaha
This ride really made me feel ten years old again in a good way(that’s how old I was when the first movie came out). The guardians are what for me into superheroes
100% disneys best rollercoaster so far, the virtual queue thing worked for me and kept the wait down to under an hour. This and expedition everest are the funnest rides in the park.
@M G you apply for a queue number online, and if you get in theyll give you a number like "queue number 116" for example. And the ride only accepts people within a certain queue range, like queues 76-90 for example. If you miss your window of time, tough luck you cant get on till you get a new number.
@M G well if you get a number youre never gonna wait longer than an hour, and I'd rather do that than wait half the day in line
@M G it's not that bad. You can keep an eye on the app to see where the queue is at. You'll start with an estimated load time and it will adjust from there based on down time or faster than usual loads.
@@jedinutcracker now tell em how the que takes 8 hours lmfao
@@alexpowers9158 If you get a later que that may be the amount of time until your group is called to board, but it’s 100% better than wasting hours in a line when you can be doing other things in the park until your called.
Rode it yesterday and our song was Disco Inferno which went with the whole vibe really well. Didn't even realize there were multiple songs that played randomly and supposedly the motion changes for each song as well. Our ending was different from this video too... we paused at the end and the Guardians spoke to the riders for a good 15 - 20 seconds... very cool ride and nicely done. Looking forward to riding it again and again.

also that backwards launch where you turn around while going over the first hill was the coolest thing I've ever experienced
What a ride was lucky to do it 3 times during my holiday. Being a huge fan this was epic
I rode this a few hours ago and immediately booked a Lightning Lane to get on it a second time. First time we got Conga by Gloria Estefan and the second time we got September by Earth, Wind & Fire.
It is easily the most fun I’ve ever had on a theme park ride. It is the smoothest, most comfortable rollercoaster I’ve ever been on and intense enough to give thrills but not scary in the least. The second time my partner and I got back row (which became front row) and we were just dancing the whole way round and at the end of the ride our whole train applauded.
I could ride it all day, the queue, the pre-show, the whole experience of the coaster itself is just a masterpiece.
Best ride at Disney World and it’s not even close ♥️
I’m a huge space mountain fan so this looks right up my alley. I didn’t even know this existed until now. I’m going for my birthday next April for the first time, now I’m even more excited. I’ve been going to Disneyland California my whole life but never Disney world, so it’ll be interesting.
This is BY FAR the best ride at disneyworld. Not by much because RoR and FoP are still incredible rides. But woooow cosmic rewind surprised me at every turn. There's nothing like it out there. The music was perfect. When I saw the moon, I thought I was in a dream. The graphics were incredible. It felt so real and exhilarating. The creativity that went into this was incredible.

I wonder what the engineering secret is behind just how smooth this ride is. I spent most of my life next to Magic Mountain, and I've been to Cedar Point and ridden most of their coasters, so I'm not short on coaster experience. But I've never, ever, EVER had a coaster ride THIS smooth. I was awestruck. No rattling, no heavy vibration, just gliding and pivoting... is it a new kind of track? So much better just from the POV than SIx Flags FLIGHT FORCE in Paris....oh wait, its Disney's rollercoaster.
Awesome footage! Excited to ride though a bit disappointed at the same time. You can tell this attraction had its budget cut. You can tell an animatronic was probably planned for the very end of the coaster. Nonetheless, I’m sure it’s smooth, the projections/visuals look great, and it’s long!
