It's one of my favorites, as well; it's always the first that comes to mind. My favorite part is when Parker does Sophies voice and it's just gibberish, then it cuts to the present and I think she says "I hate you all."

Something else interesting. Two years prior, at 18 years old, he was originally cast as Derwin on The Game. Check out the spin-off pilot, Girlfriends Season 6 Episode 18. In the episode, Joan tried to talk to her cousin, Melanie out of putting her career on hold to follow her football boyfriend, Derwin. That being said, when The Game got picked up Aldis was replaced by Pooh Hall and Aldis came over to Leverage. I remember yelling at the T.V...."Hey, that's the original Derwin."

Leverage was one of the most entertaining shows, and a favorite of mine too. I never was disappointed with an episode. The writing was excellent, but it was the amazing characters and how they made the most of not only their abilities but their quirks and their demons. The acting was exceptional, making the most of each character. Honestly, I think Beth Riesgraf's Parker is one of the most brilliant characters created for television, and she played it perfectly. Her ability to pull off the total lack of self awareness when Parker says or does something outlandish. It might be a moment where the lack of social skills is appallingly funny, or a cold ruthlessness to get the job done no matter who gets in the way, or those moments where Parker's emotions break through the walls her upbringing taught her to build. But Parker is one of those characters you just can't get enough of.
old comment but i have to say, one of my fav parker moments was at the end of season 4, when archie says "not that you should care, but i approve of your young man." and parker responds that she does care and it feels weird but she likes it. i really liked her character growth through the series, learning to think and care about others.
Leverage is legitimately one of my favorite shows ever. It's so consistently solid with creative ways of getting the job done, but those are just secondary to the amazing characters! I had no idea there was a reboot coming; I hope they don't tarnish its perfection...
The thing about Leverage is, they tell from the first minute that these guys are the best. Thats why the series doesn't bother with how some conds are done. They are the best, they get it done, dont question it.
I adore most of the two-parters: girls and boys night out job are perfect back-to-back and have some of the best comical moments in the show, and later in season 5 with the rundown job (the one that actually made me want to watch the show in the first place!!! Thank you people on tumblr talking about It!) and the next one where Sophie and nate have to solve a painting robbery in a fancy house
Yep! It's coming back. I'm not sure what changed, but I'm glad it did. It's going to be weird with half the cast missing. I hope they can rekindle that chemistry with the partial cast.
@@NaterTot Well, on the series finale Nate and Sophie did pretty much just hand the reigns over to Eliot, Parker, and Hardison with a strong hint that Parker would be Mastermind. @@NaterTot Well, Noah Wyle worked with Kane in The Librarians even though he was just recurring. John Larroquette would have made a great replacement for Hutton.
@@NaterTot I'd bet it was because they've made certain shows free on IMBD TV in the first place, and they get the numbers on the traffic. Leverage has consistently been in their "most popular" interface for a while now.
For me it was a true "feel good" show that still pulled off an action series as well. When he was younger, my son's favorite saying was in the title. Had the " sometimes bad guys make the best good guys" well before the TF2 meme.
I have re-watched EVERY episode at least five times. Such a comfort, feel-good, yet introspective show. Love it, love it, love it. Seen that you've also done a Burn Notice Review. What a legend you are.
Elliot (Christian Kane) is so hot, so my fav episodes and season 3 when he sings and when he slides across concrete and shoots up an entire room or bad guys "I don't like gun" "never said I couldn't use them"
Psych 2: Lassie Come Home and now Leverage revival!😍 Does anyone remember when Elliot Spencer and Shawn Spencer where supposed to be cousins? Still a crossover I'm wishing to see.
Aldis hodge was def a fav for me and anytime I saw him anything else I would describe him as the guy from leverage lol I’m happy to see him be successful.
We have a guy at church we started calling Hardison, because he favors the character in physical features and he runs the technology. It was perfect. He was really confused fit a minute until we explained.
I love Leverage, and I think one of the shows greatest strengths is exactly in the escapism and hope it provides. Both in providing leverage (ha) against the struggles of living under capitalism, but also in showing personal growth, saying “yes, people can change for the better. You may have done wrong things in the past, but you will always have the capacity to do good”
This show always reminds me of the A-Team mixed with Oceans. A group of people who are technically on the wrong side of the law helping people who have been victimized by the system or people so powerful they are untouchable. You have Nate as Hannibal, the mastermind, Sophie is Face, the con person, Spencer is B.A. the tough guy and Parker is Murdock, a person with their own sense of reality and Hardison is added to bring it to the 21st Century. Also I heard that they played Spencer as if he was Batman, always prepared for a fight and with knowledge in random subjects.
Holy smokes I was thinking the same thing, my hunting partner and childhood friend bring the A-Team on every duckhunting trip we go on. Just finished watching the A-Team from season one all the way to the end of season five. And when you said the A-Team mixed with ocean, you nailed it head on. Great comment 👍
LOL, I just made a similar comment before I found yours. I’ve noticed that at the end of a Leverage show one of the team says “I love it when a plan comes together”. The writers knew the connection to the A-Team. Leverage is the A-Team without the 10,000 rounds of gunfire every episode ;).
I wasn’t into the show until just recently. Just to tell you how much this show is revered, Leverage is on the “Entertainment” category on Pluto tv (free tv). It is comfort tv.
Does anyone else see the incredible parallels between this show and the old episodes of 'The A-Team'?? I love that clear sense of right and wrong and the underlying sense that the authorities are only a few steps away. I'm excited for whatever the continuation looks like!
I do. I just posted a comparison to the A-Team awhile ago (6 27 23). The similarities are great. And in two episodes of Leverage they even used the line “I love it when a plan comes together”!
YES! YES! YES! Like A-team! but with women on it! Hannidal, why did he need Face? he did almost everything. A-Team was an all boys crew, this isn't.... BUT THEY Kept the black VAN! and they don't need a Pilot!
Okay now that I have watched the video: Mark Shepherd is really one of the most underrated actors of all time. He was also in White Collar and Star Trek Voyager. Also in my head cannon Burn Notice, White Collar, and Leverage (maybe Chuck too) all take place in the same universe. Imagine how insane a crossover like that would be like. 😀
Favorite episode: S5E08: Broken Wing. It’s for the home bound in all of us, or more recently, the covid type episode. Parker is stuck at home with a torn ACL and is slowly going stir crazy (already binged Hardison’s Netflix’s watch list - Twice). Leverage had a lot of one liners and set-up gags that were great, but I think this one contained to most and were very relatable.
Leverage was one of my favorites, along with Burn Notice and White Collar. The cast has such good chemistry, I feel like they'd hang out offset. That, I think, is what made it so good. (Incidentally Aldis Hodge was on an episode of Supernatural, and Mark Sheppard played Crowley regularly on Supernatural.) And I'm sorry, but you can't replace Hutton as the Mastermind, I don't care who you get.
@@ashisreallytired9006 I have no problem with Parker being mastermind. I just don't think they should replace Hutton's character with someone else. If they start it as it was at the end of the series, I'd be fine with it.
I think Hutton has had some really negative controversy... And that was why he's not coming back. I remember hearing they were renewing, and the very next thing being that Hutton was involved in some form of scandal, and the show distancing from him intentionally. If that's how it went down, I'm behind the show!
@@angeliaparker-savage5401 I agree actually. I don't like the idea of them being led by some random new person, they've been the in the game long enough that either one of them (parker/elliot/hardison) should take the lead.
My favorite episode was the two live crew job. Watching the team go up against their counterparts was pure fun. (not to mention, the woodchipper bit was hilarious!)
"Damn it Hardison". I loved this show so much. They should have made a movie, like they did with Psyche, to show them years later with Parker running it and Nate and "Laura", with their kids, coming back to help with a case. But without Hutton, and Hardison in a minor role, it will not be Leverage. But it will be interesting to watch nonetheless.
Leverage is one of my all-time favorite shows. It's that perfect balance of dramatic enough to be engaging but silly enough that you can just enjoy it and not take it seriously.
The title is my exact sentiment about one of my top 5 shows; if not anything else, it's for comfort. It's why my sister and I bought all of the dvd sets when they first came out. The commentaries and extra features were fun to watch, but it's nice we have easier access through Prime and IMDB. Whenever I see negative things in this real world, I wish the Leverage crew were here to get things back in order.
My sleep shows: Monk Psych Leverage Castle Shows I can put on and wind down relax; also lmbo at the same jokes again and again . . . Some runner ups Republic of Doyle The Good Cop (needed 2more seasons)
Bought every single season from Barnes and Noble super store where I was working at the day each came out. Watched every episode back to back where other TV shows on DVD I would switch up and watch an episode of something else.
@@Getvictd744 of your sleep shows I have the entire series of all xcept Castle on DVD. Psych is definitely my other go to feel good show. Honestly I don't know which I love more. And Castle? Nathan Fillion is the F'N man. I pretty much love everything that guy does. Even his cameo work like in that Percy Jacksons movie where he's Hermes. Dudes a pure boss.
Their run was long enough that the writers were able to really grow the characters organically. They showed that with the series finale. It ended a chapter but left a window open to come back. It is one of my absolute favorite series. All are amazingly talented. Great review.
Wait!! Wait, wait!!! It's being REBOOTED!?!?!?!?!?!? OMG!!!! I'm so glad I clicked on this! I LOVE Leverage! I watch it when I'm sick, when I'm depressed, when I want to feel good and be ... comforted? Idk, It's just ... it's perfect. Even if it's a little cliche. I love it. I HAVE to see a REBOOT! - as long as Parker and Elliot are there - they're my favs
Love Leverage! One of the most rewatchable shows out there. Like you said, it touches on darker subjects and injustices but it never gets too dark, and with the chemistry/relationships between the characters, it's just such an enjoyable watch. Also, I didn't realize they'd be doing a new season! Glad I stumbled upon this video. Sadly, Leverage is one of those shows that just didn't get as much attention as it deserved, but the people who have seen it, love it. Kinda reminds me of Person of Interest in a way, another show with incredible characters that we love to see the interactions between, and procedural, villain-of-the-week type episodes mixed with more serialized story arcs, but also a show that didn't get as much attention as it deserved.
Its just so damn rewatchable. A friend got me on it years ago and I rewatch the show every year. What I love about Leverage is that there aren't any episodes that I can think of that are awful. Yes some episodes are a bit weaker than others but there are no episodes that I would consider terrible. Most series have those episodes that even die hard fans know are embarrassingly awful but Leverage doesn't have this. I've always thought of Leverage as the Oceans film series meets Robin Hood.
I did not know that Leverage was returning. Absolutely excellent news! It is one of my all time favorite shows and I miss it like crazy because everything today just has to be suspense, dark, edgy, and filled with so many problems that one never gets a breather. There really aren't many shows left where the protagonist(s) just gets a win once in a while without some other, more serious issue crops up or some disaster happens right after or as a consequence. These shows certainly can be great, but they are just sooooo exhausting. Sometimes one just needs a break and see a good show with people who are just the best at what they do and actually win (most of the time).
I am literally rewatching Leverage right now. I love this show so much and I can’t wait to see what Leverage 2 will bring!! Favorite episodes def has to be the carnival one and the one that Hardison gets trapped in the coffin. That ending when Spencer and him hug. While they’re always picking and bickering at each other does show they have a huge friendship together. Or when Spencer says, “you killed my friends van.” And starts fighting the guys for killing Lucille 2.0.
One of my favs is The Rundown Job. Stork Job, Tap-Out Job, Long Way Down Job, Grave Danger Job, Scheherazade Job are ones that have my favorite character development moments.
I'm still shocked at how well Hardison did that. An apparently Aldis can really play. But it was awesome to see each member has a second thing they're really good at. Like Kane's character Spencer being a great chef. I mean he is right wielding a blade is all in context.
Leverage might be the most underrated TV show of all time. The chemistry between the entire cast combined with the feel-good nature of their missions/cons make this such an incredible show.
Can't pick a fave really, the first one is always the best for me. God I love this show so much. It doesn't take itself too seriously, it sticks with its premise, and no matter what, you know there will be a neat conclusion even though it will take a lot of brain power to get there. It isnt as dark and foreboding as tv shows now seems to equate to quality. The characters grow organically and you can feel the chemistry. I love it, sometimes a good show is just a good show.
I re-watch Leverage so much, the show is just fun, you can pretty much grab any episode at any time and enjoy it. Outside of half of one season, there is not really an overwhelming arc where you feel you are missing out on a bigger story by watching in random order. My Girlfriend has gotten tired of me re-watching certain shows, that she's "banned" me from watching them (Leverage and West Wing.... it's not that she doesn't like them, but the fact that I'm probably up to multiple digit views of watching each show.) There are just a few shows that had a four or more year run, that didn't have a bad season, Leverage is one of them. Too many shows with any longevity have bad seasons... the less serious they take themselves, the less likely that is to happen to be honest, but Leverage was a drama with comedy, that didn't take itself too seriously and managed to produce good seasons every season.
@Playfulpanthress Exactly!! She had really grown through out the original series, so I really hope that they honor that journey. (She is also my favorite, so I might be a little biased.)
@@frogpond222 it wont happen if Frakes as anything to say about it. all his eps where the worst one of the series. lucky it was not the majority of the shows.
Love Leverage! Watch it on Pluto tv everynight and weekends I never get tired of this show and still look forward to certain episodes like Two Live Crew when Sophie's apartment is blown up. That's just one of my favorites.
ngl i love this series BECAUSE it’s okay being goofy. they have the perfect excuse to go grimdark, old school, detective noir especially with characters like parker, eliot, and nate who have terrible pasts, traumas, vices and/or have done some implied awful things. but the fact that they choose found family to center around is the reason it’s my comfort show.
I’ve watched this show way to much. I’m actually rewatching it now. It really is a comfort show. I have to say my favorite episode is “The Rashomon Job” where they all relay a story about stealing a dagger from a museum. Their versions of each other are hilarious!
I was first drawn to the show by Tim Hutton, I was a huge fan of his father Jim. After the first episode I was hooked and loved watching every week. Just recently heard about the revival, and wished that Hutton would have come back but I'm a fan of Noah Wiley so we'll have to see how it goes. I'm definitely looking forward to it.
I absolutely love Dean Devlin’s work and i’m so exited for more Leverage. I’ve re-watch that show so many time. Also as sad i am that Timothy Hutton won’t be back i’m not surprised by Noah Wyle joining the show. Devlin him and Christian Kane worked on the Show “The Librarians” also from TNT. It’s going to be so good!
Ocean's 11? No, Leverage is clearly the US version of the UK show "Hustle". Look it up, both shows are sooo similar yet both unique in their own right. Both are brilliant, funny, great chemistry, and great cons that are justice serving. I was / am a huge Hustle fan and was thrilled to discover Leverage which I thought was an obvious American version of Hustle.
"It was created by John Rodgers and Chris Downey" But who's the other guy in the photo? Could it possibly be Dean Devlin? The other co-creator and showrunner of the entire series!
I LOVE Leverage. All the characters grew and developed so beautifully. And it was always so much fun!! I rewatch it every free years. And the commentaries are fantastic. Definitely worth the price of the box set.
My favorite show. Period. I’ve binge-watched this show at least 3 times over the years since it was cancelled. Great cast. Could have maybe mentioned something about Parker and Hardison’s dynamics since it was a major part of the show as well, but still a good job on the review. Well done and thanks for giving the show props. Looking forward to the reboot!
I used to watch the reruns and loved it. I started binge watching it this week and I can’t wait until the reboot comes!! Especially since the og actors will be in it
This is one of the greatest shows I’ve watched in a while. All the characters seem very real and super likable and the episodes are just pure fun! Plus there’s that found family aspect that I’m a sucker for. Thanks for covering this one!
I remember binging this entire show within a few days a few years ago and I miss the character dynamics and chemistry so much. The only show that recently reminded me of Leverage was The Librarians.
I love shows where the character chemistry is just perfect. Like with Michael, Fiona and Sam in Burn Notice, Peter and Neal in White Collar, Gus and Shawn in Psych, and Keith and Veronica in Veronica Mars.
When I heard leverage was coming back I was so hype.they missing two of my favorite characters but they got my other three favorites so I don't mind and hopefully we get them back in a later season here's to hoping
I just watched the first episode of the new Leverage show and I just... could not stop smiling. It felt like coming home. ;.; The new guy fits in surprisingly well, too. I was just... smiling all the way through.
I love this show so much. My favorite episode is "The Last Dam Job". Love my Hardison and Spencer. By the way the show wasn't cancelled due to low ratings, because it averaged 3 to 4 million viewers a week on TNT. It was cancelled due to the cost of the show.
This is still my favorit show. Loved every character. Every episode was smartly made. The ending was great and not disappointing. This is the only show I can watch over and over again, and i wont get bored.
This is still the only show that me and my family can agree on watching together and loving it no mater how much we rewatch it. My favorite episode is the lost Van Gough job, probably because I’m an art major. My dad likes the the ones with a military connection and my sister loves anytime where Parker acts crazy. None of us live together anymore so the one or twice a year I see them, I’m thankful for this show for alway being something that my family can share.
My absolute favorite was when sophie was "finance " to that guy & "died/martered" for that country. Now i cant remenber if i believed it at the time or i knew it was part of the plan...
Leverage was such a great series with a great cast! The stories with the cast playing "historic" characters were so much fun, especially the DB Cooper episode!
THE BEST SHOW EVER. Great characters, great actors and funny interesting episodes, of course same are a little stretchy, but, if we want reality we see the news. This is the best show ever. I hope that Aldis Hodge manages to enter the series because he and Christian Kane together are fantastic, and I will miss seeing Tim Hunton he is the best team leader in the world.
Leverage is one of the ultimate examples of how "Good Guys winning" doesn't have to get stale. Part of what makes it good comfort TV is that despite the dark backstories or mistakes or challenges, they always look out for each other and do their small part to fix something about the world that's broken. Especially in more recent times, I think the show stands as a cathartic antithesis to the general feeling of powerlessness the average person has: the powerful aren't invulnerable and people can be held accountable for misdeeds.
This is the only show that makes me love every single character. It’s the perfect show.
Absolutely. They put a solid amount of effort into developing each character

I am still reliving the original on Amazon. It's free with commercials right now, and I can live with some commercials for Leverage.
Leverage is my favorite show. Rewatch it regularly. Can’t pick a favorite episode since there are so many good ones. Super excited for the new show.
Elliot (Christian Kane) is so hot, so my fav episodes and season 3 when he sings and when he slides across concrete and shoots up an entire room or bad guys "I don't like gun" "never said I couldn't use them"
Great moments!
i first saw him working for wolfram and hart then as a librarian, he does so many roles well
I'm a big Librarians fan and his new show is fun too, but I can't help seeing Eliott in anything he's in (except for, maybe, Heaven Sent).
that line was stolen from Quigley Down Under, Tom Sellack's Australian western. But hey, they're thieves, what did you expect? (it's a great line)
@@ChaosInsanist Rescue 77. That was a good show that didn't last. Talented singer as well.
Psych 2: Lassie Come Home and now Leverage revival!😍 Does anyone remember when Elliot Spencer and Shawn Spencer where supposed to be cousins? Still a crossover I'm wishing to see.
That would be interesting for sure 😊
Dont mess wit my soul like that
huh?
we can only wish...
Please don't play with my emotions like that. A Psych/Leverage crossover is just more than my mental state can take right now!
Aldis hodge was def a fav for me and anytime I saw him anything else I would describe him as the guy from leverage lol I’m happy to see him be successful.
it's the only reason i'm watching that movie about the invisible dude
We have a guy at church we started calling Hardison, because he favors the character in physical features and he runs the technology. It was perfect. He was really confused fit a minute until we explained.
Me too...
I haven't seen this show in a while. Despite this, every Christmas I can't help but sing "Blast the car with EMP, fa lalalala lalalala"
Loved leverage, rewatched it not too long ago, such a great show.
This was my third rewatch. It still holds up. It is still ridiculously entertaining!
I'm rewatching it now I'm on season 3
@@demoninthedark5273 I especially like the Moreau arc and the Portland arc
@@savingpyro For real the Moreau Arc was crazy
all i know is you never want to get on this squads bad side...
Spencer has the same voice as Batman. XD
yeah its the better A team..
It is comfort tv.
yes,
Does anyone else see the incredible parallels between this show and the old episodes of 'The A-Team'??
Okay now that I have watched the video:
Mark Shepherd is really one of the most underrated actors of all time.
He was also in White Collar and Star Trek Voyager.
Also in my head cannon Burn Notice, White Collar, and Leverage (maybe Chuck too) all take place in the same universe. Imagine how insane a crossover like that would be like. 😀
Shepherd is SERIOUSLY underrated. I'd also take that as a hell of a crossover.
He'll always be Badger to me.
I'm pretty sure I've read that fanfic and it was epic.
Get Devlin on it to make it happen ;)
Jacob Clark He's also in Firefly
Favorite episode: S5E08: Broken Wing. It’s for the home bound in all of us, or more recently, the covid type episode. Parker is stuck at home with a torn ACL and is slowly going stir crazy (already binged Hardison’s Netflix’s watch list - Twice). Leverage had a lot of one liners and set-up gags that were great, but I think this one contained to most and were very relatable.
I love that episode! I also like that they derived some of the jokes and hinted at Hitchcock's "Rear Window".
Omg thanks for the reminder of this episode!
Leverage was one of my favorites, along with Burn Notice and White Collar. The cast has such good chemistry, I feel like they'd hang out offset. That, I think, is what made it so good.
(Incidentally Aldis Hodge was on an episode of Supernatural, and Mark Sheppard played Crowley regularly on Supernatural.)
And I'm sorry, but you can't replace Hutton as the Mastermind, I don't care who you get.
Actually (SPOILERS) by the end of the show Nate and Sophie leave and Parker becomes the mastermind, so technically he is replaced
@@AnglBunny Noah Wylie is not random.
Is it a Librarians crossover now?
Me too! Great thing about escape television. It can lessen or even remove the ugliness of the world 😂
My sleep shows:
Monk
Psych
Leverage
Castle
Shows I can put on and wind down relax; also lmbo at the same jokes again and again
.
.
.
Some runner ups
Republic of Doyle
The Good Cop (needed 2more seasons)
I also bought the DVDs and really enjoyed the commentaries.
I liked the one in Dubai with the chess tournament
I like the 'twist' on that one!
Queen's Gambit, yes, a classic! Such a beautiful ending

Favorite Episode the D.B. Cooper Job episode. All of my favorite shows like Leverage were underrated
This is a great episode. I love the turn in the episode, not just the twist, but how they handled the twist. It was really clever.
Leverage and Psych, both tied for my favorite show of all time
They're definitely up there for me!
Are you me?
And White Collar and Monk...
YEP!!!! Im eight there with you. Someone mentioned a crossover because it was believed that Elliot and Shawn were cousins. Can you imagine.
Leverage, Psych and Monk👌🏾
I used to watch this show every year around finals week because it was one of the only things that would 100% cheer me up.
It's easy to do!
Redemption is getting a Third season!
I love this show so much, lost count of how many times I’ve rewatched it
I am literally rewatching Leverage right now.
Me: watching this review of my all time favorite show, smiling because I love Leverage so much
the review: mentions Grave Danger Job
me: instant tears
I'm sorry! I had to. It was so good!
@@NaterTot you're forgiven 😂 Grave Danger is my favorite episode and I've seen it a million times but I still cant watch it without crying 😂
One of my favs is The Rundown Job. Stork Job, Tap-Out Job, Long Way Down Job, Grave Danger Job, Scheherazade Job are ones that have my favorite character development moments.
Yes! Scheherazade Job was great! That violin solo that mesmerized the whole team - mid-job, was beautiful.
I'm still shocked at how well Hardison did that. An apparently Aldis can really play. But it was awesome to see each member has a second thing they're really good at. Like Kane's character Spencer being a great chef. I mean he is right wielding a blade is all in context.
'Leverage' always struck me as an Americanized version of the British series 'Hustle' (shown for a time on AMC), which was equally enjoyable.
Hustle was a good show. They have the one foreign con person as well.
Leverage might be the most underrated TV show of all time. The chemistry between the entire cast combined with the feel-good nature of their missions/cons make this such an incredible show.
I love LEVERAGE. The show is so fun to watch if there's nothing else to watch.
Agreed!
My favorite is The Scheherazade Job because the song is so beautiful and I love how they all just stop what they're doing and listen.
I love that moment too!
Ford: Did you just kill someone with an appetizer?
Spencer: I don't know, maybe.
I re-watch Leverage so much, the show is just fun, you can pretty much grab any episode at any time and enjoy it. Outside of half of one season, there is not really an overwhelming arc where you feel you are missing out on a bigger story by watching in random order. My Girlfriend has gotten tired of me re-watching certain shows, that she's "banned" me from watching them (Leverage and West Wing.... it's not that she doesn't like them, but the fact that I'm probably up to multiple digit views of watching each show.)
There are just a few shows that had a four or more year run, that didn't have a bad season, Leverage is one of them. Too many shows with any longevity have bad seasons... the less serious they take themselves, the less likely that is to happen to be honest, but Leverage was a drama with comedy, that didn't take itself too seriously and managed to produce good seasons every season.
Oh, fine. The Librarian is taking over the team.
That would be kinda cool if he was indeed the same character
They need to put Timothy Hutton back on the show. The cast worked so good with each other
@Playfulpanthress Exactly!! She had really grown through out the original series, so I really hope that they honor that journey. (She is also my favorite, so I might be a little biased.)
@@frogpond222 it wont happen if Frakes as anything to say about it. all his eps where the worst one of the series. lucky it was not the majority of the shows.
At least he'll be used to working with Christian Kane.
My favorite episode is all of them. I kinda watched all of them still.
Definitely one of the more consistent shows I've ever reviewed. I think besides the fifth season, every episode and season holds up remarkably well.
Love Leverage! Watch it on Pluto tv everynight and weekends I never get tired of this show and still look forward to certain episodes like Two Live Crew when Sophie's apartment is blown up. That's just one of my favorites.
My favorite scene from that episode is when Eliot fights with the female "hitter" from the other crew. She gave him a run for his money, lol!
ngl i love this series BECAUSE it’s okay being goofy. they have the perfect excuse to go grimdark, old school, detective noir especially with characters like parker, eliot, and nate who have terrible pasts, traumas, vices and/or have done some implied awful things. but the fact that they choose found family to center around is the reason it’s my comfort show.
Leverage was so creative and probably had the best cast chemistry interaction with best distinct characters i have seen in TV. It was just amazing.
I loved Parker. Small, hot, blonde bundle of psychotic tendencies. :D
😂😂😂😂😂 What isn't to like? 😂
Leverage was the last series that I watched completely on t.v. I'm glad to hear that its coming back and I really hope it turns out good.
It was one of the few shows I watched every day it came on. Now with streaming, you never have to wait the 'night of'.
Thank you for the update. I look forward to see it come back. You don't have to think when watching , JUST WATCH AND ENJOY. I still watch the reruns.
Exactly, Chuck! It is a nice distraction from the chaotic real world!
God DAMN it. I'm gonna have "two good old boys" stuck in my head ALL DAY now.
Good 😂 Imagine how I felt editing this 😂
One of my favorites is the episode where they convince the mark he is being abducted by aliens. OMG... I laugh so hard at that one!
Loved this show. Kinda like a cross between Hustle and The A-Team
this show was a huge part of my childhood, i was just remembering it the other day and i guess this video means it's time for a rewatch
I love this show! Can't wait until the show comes out again. I'll miss Timothy, but I've always liked Noah.
The 'twist' in every episode is very addicting. You gonna watch it again and again.
I absolutely agree. I love seeing how everything unfolded
Favorite episode is The Office Job (the one about the Greeting Card company, I think that was the title of the episode). That episode was hilarious.
The best show ever. Has a little of everything in it. Makes a person feel good at the end of each episode. Keep showing these episodes. Thanks.
I love this show and I was so sad when they took it off Netflix 😭

The San Lorenzo Job. That was hilarious how they took that guy who was unsure of himself and made him el presidente!
Leverage is one of my go to binge watch shows. Love Leverage!
The cast is just pure perfection.
