Bruh, I appreciate your story about your mom purchasing the Egg Plants for you. I think that is the reason why so many of us love sneakers. The story might be a little different for each of us, but the feeling is the same and we have all had that moment at one point or another in our childhood.
I’m being way more selective on what shoes I pick up these days but one thing for sure I will say the phone posit wave was one of the best waves ever I remember once upon a time if you had a pair of phones you doing it these kids don’t understand how great shoe used to be and how it still is! I copped the Eggplant Foamposite, they are nice just like back in the days. I had the 1/2 Cent Royal, Eggplant, and all black back in the days. Your mom really loved u and made u look fresh at school when she got u the Eggplant 1/2 Cent cuz those were really expnsive!
The 1/2 Cents in general are legendary I was more of a fan of that silhouette over the foams, I just threw away my 2nd pair of eggplant 1/2 cents about a month ago because I got tired of regluing the soles back together lol that's how much I rocked them over the years...hopefully they bring those back. But yea dope pick up I just grabbed the royals that's dropping next month, still need these!

I took a Fast L on all sites on the anthracites and the Egg plants , fortunately Undefeated in phx I was able to cop locally for both , it was so nice to be able to have them in person , if you guys didn’t know SNKRS only dropped 9k pairs total…THATS why we all took a quick L , hopefully we start getting pros after the royals , Pines and the Pearls NEED to drop again
Even the electric greens or blue would be nice … I just want to be able to get all them joints that I couldn’t get because I was a very young buck and wasn’t working , parents weren’t about to be dropping 220-230 on some shoes , NEED ALL THEM FROM 07- 2012 😅
