Please note - this is just my opinion! If you have a different one, leave a comment and let us know! Also, keep in mind we literally have 100 different foamposite colorways out there, so picking top 5 is a challenge. These are mine however for the stories that come with them.

Originally released in 1997, Nike Basketball debuted its Foamposite technology in the form of two models - the Nike Air Foamposite One and Air Foamposite Pro. Penny Hardaway debuted the One in the only original colorway to release, which also featured his 1CENT logo. The Pros featured an added jewel Swoosh on the sides and no Penny branding to help set to two apart. After the Foamposite Pro became the first of the two to retro, it took quite some time for the Foamposite One to make its return -an idea hard to fathom today.
So final question of the day, will the Foamposite make a revival? Is it dead forever??

Foams have always been my favorite shoe ever, all they have to do is drop a simple color way and keep it super limited for hype and resellers to go crazy
blue mirror are my first, then northern lights are my second favorite of the foams.

My dad worked for laika while i was growing up and I constantly got to go in to the studio and just see all the cool stuff there.

Honestly the best non og color way for the 14s are the DMPs that quality on the leather with the black and gold are 🔥🔥🔥
Green glow 4s & Belair 5s have to be on that list.

Mike Bibby during the NCAA tournament. The whole squad of the Arizona Wildcats received a pair but as far as starters went Mike Bibby had these first. He wore the foamposites during the last 3 games of the NCAA as they won the championship in 97.

Been a collector of foamposits for a long time, I have over 26 pairs, and I have to be honest the past two years seems like the hype has gone down quite a bit for them. Now I’m not saying that’s a bad thing for myself gives me access to whatever I want to pick up. But sales are down there’s no doubt all you have to do is look at StockX. They should be really limited to two pairs of year with some half decent colorways. I don’t think revamping the shoe is going to do anything for sales it would be nice to keep it as an iconic shoe in the same silhouette. But me myself I’ll keep on them just because I’m a lover of them. Have to agree on your choices too, the Royal blue is what started it all for me back in high school.
its crazy to me how many colorways they release of the same model, they should put it on ice for a bit imo. But regardless still a fan of the model. Like you I used to collect every pair that released that i could, but with so many out now i just couldnt keep up nor would want to with some of the crappy colorways we see
Hes Kicks yeah for sure, the price point always hurts every time you buy a pair, I just wish they lower the price a little bit I think it would sell these a lot better. I mean it’s old sneaker technology so I can’t understand why were still paying premium prices for them but guess we’ll never figure that out from Nike. And as for the colorways like that green colour way that just recently came out this month I mean that’s just not needed.

Nike should terminate the Foamposite line for a couple of years, 3-5 years probably, and then bring them back again in a big statement. Adidas did this with the stan smith and it worked out pretty well.
