    Love the attack!
Is that sound with a relaxed reno tension

A 2 ply would actually have more attack. Reso is tuned about a third higher than batter. Floor tom is same pitch (medium/loose) top and bottom

The sonar sound amazing! Why do you like Evans better than Remo heads?

@ Remo and Evans both make great drumheads. And I love that they are unique in their own way. I seem to always come back to Evans though - mostly because of the service in Australia. D’Addario Aust is a rad distributor. On top of having products that do the job for me.

@ seems like everybody plays Evans these days except for the cats over 55. People swear they’re easier to too but I don’t know if if that’s the case.

@ easier as in easier to tune? Well, technically yes, at least for modern kits and shells that are not oversized like some vintage kits. The Level 360 technology lets the head sit a lot nicer on the bearing edge. A problem that Sonors never have thanks to undersized shells
