I once did this piece n English in a wee opera company for young singers we had wooden mallets and I always remember the time the top flew off my neighbours mallet and landed in the lap of a well heeled audience member who was so shocked. It was the only time I have ‘corpsed’ onstage we were all in stitches.
Nothing like live theatre! I was at a performance of the Tempest about 20 years ago and a calculator (of all things) came flying out from above the stage, into the audience and hitting a lady in the face. Once we realized she wasn’t hurt, we could not stop laughing. That memory still pops up randomly as I’m falling asleep and I giggle my face off.
@@jaydoggy9043 No telling. It couldn’t have been more random. And it was one of those square-shaped ones with a highlighter on each corner. That made it funnier for some reason, in an “African or European swallow?” way.

@@Hojotoho.Yall504 I feel like the calculator itself has a story. 😆 Was someone bookkeeping in the middle of the show or something?

Brilliant
I'm surprised they didn't move the setting to an iPhone factory in China. And they used the word Gypsy!!
