Espada Negra Duel - Hector vs Rui (Rapiers)

A duel that you should live for as an instructor. We can’t think of a better start to this description other than this. We don’t really want to spoil the video for you but this is something you have to see.
If you’re looking for spoilers though, here they are:
A fitting end to Rui’s victory streak and in quite an spectacular fashion, a good control of measure and tempo lead to an incapacitating thrust to the shoulder, Rui couldn’t be prouder of Hector’s victory and one he hope other students will be able to pick on. No instructor is invincible, unbeatable and let alone perfect.

I’m glad you bring the context of the duel back into it. I get so frustrated when I watch longsword tournaments with the “sportification” that happens with trying to win points. So many people would die in the first exchange.
